Getting Back Up From a Knockout

Any of you that have been in business for yourself for any amount of time know that you are bound for a knockout (or a few) during your time. Here are a few of mine and how I got up. What are some of yours?

#1 - Had a good amount of articles of a couple of niches in squidoo. They were all ranking like gangbusters and people were clicking through to my site and buying since they were "hair on fire" buyers.

That went on for a couple of months but then BOOM! Squidoo decided they would no longer allow "adult" or weight loss products so all of my lenses were deleted and all of my referral traffic and money GONE! And I had not backed up my content anywhere!

I changed platforms and make sure I had multiple streams of traffic and more from places that I OWNED!

#2 - Ezinearticles

I hadn't fully learned my lesson so I was putting an insane amount of articles onto Ezinearticles all day! Lots of traffic and Adsense clicks!

When the content farm penalty came out everyone freaked out and ezinearticles was one of those people. Not only did my articles get deleted but my premium account also was deleted.

This one was pretty hard on me and my emotions but I got up again! I started doing blog commenting and writing for some other articles directories and such.

I ended up selling those sites for a profit and went opened my own blog to inspire, motivate and share my finds with other people.
