What Would You Say is a Good CTR for EZA Articles?

I'm getting somewhere between 5% to 50% depending on my resource box. I've been testing things a bit..

What kind of CTR do you guys get on your EZA articles, and what would you say is a *decent* CTR?

I'd say you should expect 30%+

If you're getting less than that - test, test, test, accept nothing less!

Thanks Rob. I believe I may have stumbled on a resource box that gives me a 40%+ CTR on most articles..

Yes, test a lot as Rob suggests. But also, understand that CTR varies a lot from niche to niche. I've probably written articles in over 50 niches in the last several years. I can tell you that good resource boxes help in all cases, but in reality it's very easy in some niches to get 25% or more without even thinking about the resource box. Whereas in other niches, even the best resource box may only barely get over 10% CTR.

So, I would recommend testing within a niche. Don't get into comparing between niches or you'll drive yourself crazy.

At this point I consider a good CTR at about 35%.

And a great CTR at 45%+ is what I aim for.

Again, as already mentioned it depends upon the niche.

Some niches it's difficult to get only a 10% CTR.

Here is one of my article bios that gets about 35% average CTR and that's about the highest I've been able to get it for the article marketing aspects within the Internet marketing niche.

Surprisingly, I've found that the shorter my resource box is, the more clicks I get.

Another tip for the resource box is to write it so it blends into the end of the article. It should read as the end of the article, not a separate part of the page. You want the resource box to give the reader a logical 'next step' now that they're done reading. How about clicking to your wonderful site? That's the ticket.

I had paltry numbers at first and then in certain niches avg'd 50% + but overall I would say anything above 30% is decent.
