question regarding funnel structure

hi,

so i'm developing my lead magnet, but im not sure how to structure it into my website. i know i need to build a list. But my question is how would i set my website to give out the lead magnet in exchange for setting up an appointment to discuss working together?

ideally i would like to give the lead magnet out for a phone call to sell them on my service or at least get them to take my free offer of 30 second music video promo...

    Hi:

    You can put a banner on your website and have the banner linked to your autoresponder. Once a person clicks on the banner your squeeze page would appear explaining your offer and asking for whatever information you are collecting.

    But a banner linked to a landing page/squeeze page on your website is the easiest way to capture the information you want to collect.

    You don't.

    You give out your lead magnet freely either in exchange for a email address or more contact details but you don't even really need to do that if you make sure your lead magnet educates your ideal prospect to book a call with you. . .or to take another action along the way.

    Remember you can pixel and retarget people who got the lead magnet.

    A stealthy was is to give away some great content without opt-in but inside the content you refer someone to the next step (something valuable) where they do opt-in.

    Sometimes it pays to get your content in the hands of prospects without them being forced into anything.

    There are many ways to get them to take gradual steps towards your solution.

    Think about how you can make it very easy for prospects to take the steps required so they become so keen without you needing to force the issue.

    Generally with this approach you will get better prospects who are more ready to convert when the opportunity presents itself to them.
