What is the best selling price for WSOs generally speaking?

I have a $47 video course type offer that I may want to put on WSO for best price...what is the best selling price usually you see or you tend to buy?

What price range do you buy from WSO if you are a consistent wso buyer?

Just thought this would be an interesting topic for other members as well.

Thanks
BJ

What's best for WSOs has been discussed many times on this forum.

One-size-fits-all does not apply. What you should charge depends upon a number of factors including
    • What the WSO is and how comprehensive it is
    • What your reputation in IM circles allows you to charge
    • What kind of "bang" you can give for every dollar you ask
    • What the going rate of the competition may be
    • How many competitors have a similar product
    • What level of audience you are targeting for your offer
    • What is the utility of your product (single use - developer - etc)
    • Other factors as well
The point is, IMO there is no "best" selling price for a WSO.

If you want to find out what's going to be best for your offer, start selling it and test, track, and tweak your selling prices. After ample traffic, choose the price that optimizes your sales. Then offer the product to the WF as a WSO at a discount (that's what WSOs are for, right?).

    The best to you,

I agree , you need to sell price at various price points like $7, $10, $20 and $30 and based on clicks and conversion metrics, you need to price that. If you send 100 clicks to each price points say $10 and $30 , u may get 1 sale for $30 and 10 sales for $10 . Now you know you should price it for $10.

One thing to keep in mind is that Freelancer's offers seems to all be more "expensive."

I've never seen a super cheap offer which the WSO forum has become known for I don't think. They are selling $47-$297 type offers to this forum demographic.

I don't know how successful they have been doing it but they may be trying to break the $7/cheap price stranglehold on WSOs.

Surely the price depends on the offer, right?

It's like saying how much do normally cars sell for, without knowing what make/model/year we are talking about?

If it's a 10 page report, then a $7 price tag might be right or if you have a 200 page ebook, then you could probably sell it for $47 and so on.

What do you think it is worth. That is the first metric you should follow

now the $4.95 took over the market from the $7 start point. but that is ok. start with $7 and do the downsell for %50 off and people will buy. you can also offer the first video free if people decide to close and not buy. it works like a charm. do not forget to get reviews. i will be more than happy to review for you.

A larger volume of sale for a low priced offer can sometimes outperform a high ticket offer with lower sales. You can take this fact into consideration. However, pricing is not a generic topic and you need to take into consideration several factors before arriving at a conclusive figure.
