Hi

This is my first post on the warrior forum but definitely won't be my last. I really need some help and some guidance in some issues relating to the working platform called Fiver. First let me give you guys some really important background and information about myself. I have recently signed up with Fiverr and have yet to start any work there mostly because the few things I need to understand before I get into it. For starters I don't want to ruin it or do anything that can damage my reputation. I really want to look before I leap therefore I need your guidance. Firstly, I am almost complete physically disabled but due to the limited ability I have I can work on the computer using the help of a mouse . Right now I'm using the voice recognition software to type this message. I'm able to type with the help of the onscreen keyboard and mouse and I don't always need the voice recognition software but helps in makes thing a little easier especially when I have to type a lot. But when typing small amounts of I don't really need the VRS. I also have a high school degree. I have been looking for easy jobs I can do online which doesn't require 1.) Too much physical effort 2.) any special skills and anything that can be done by somebody who has a high school degree. After searching for over a year I finally stumbled upon fiverr and it was a perfect match for me because I was looking for something that I can do within my physical capability, something that doesn't require special skills and since I'm not looking to make a lot of money a couple of $100 a month will be more than enough for me because in my country in the exchange rate is quite high. I am also going to start online work with my brother

Now here's the thing. After doing some research for over a month I have come to realize that there are quite a few things I may be able to do. They include, audio related work, data entry work like sending emails ,social networking like posting stuff for people , turning images into sketch or drawing on Photoshop ,proofreading, and the one I'm most interested in which is writing messages on birthday cakes for people and sending them the link. There seems to be a lot of things I can do on fiverr relation to my physical capability.

But I don't to jump into anything before, and ruin it even before starting . So this is where my questions comes in and why I need your help

1. If I try something out and I faill,, try something else will it damage my reputation ? (basically is there a ' Safe way' of trying out different things without damaging or causing any red flags ? (this is a really important question)

2. I am aware of the whole Fiverr vacation mode which people use. But if I use that too many times will hat damage my reputation ?

3.Should i include on my fiverr profile that I am physically disabled (maybe by giving them my facebook profile link ) ? Or will that not be necessary ? I read an article where they advised people to be as honest as possible when signing up with fiverr, so I was wondering if notifying the fact that I am physically disabled to get a bit more consideration would be a good idea ? Or will that disturb home people's reliability on me? The important thing here is I am willing to do whatever that is helpful and not giving me a bad name.

Question one and three are very important and more so than question wto. I would appreciate it if I could get a response to all three of my questions and you may give me the answers with numbers if you wish to home.

Thank you guys for taking the time to read this.

    1. If the buyer is not happy with your work, you can always offer to re-do the work free of charge and rectify any issues, so everyone will be happy. Or worst case, just offer a full refund and that way they'll get their money, while you keep your profile clean

    2. According to Fiverr, you can only have 28 days vacation per year, so even if you wanted to take more days, it wouldn't allow you. Here's the source > Vacation Mode Is Now Available For Your Fiverr Gigs

    3. Don't share your personal details/abilities on Fiverr or anywhere online for no reason. If you can get the work done as well as any other person on Fiverr, then it makes no difference whether you have a physical disability or not. Do your work, get paid and move on.

The Fiverr community has a forum. Why not ask your questions where you can get more helpful answers? People will answer questions here, whether they actually know the answers, or not. It makes them feel good about themselves and whether it actually helps you or not is meaningless to them.

    1) If you fail in making customers happy it will bring down your overall ratings which will make you less hireable. But for example you are not making money on one gig and move to something else it doesn't hurt your ratings at all. There are tons of people on Fiverr who all types of different gigs under their name.

    2) We use it a lot and we are still a top seller! Have been for almost 2 years now and before we got to top seller we still used Vacation mode alot as well, however if you leave yourself off for too long consecutively it could bring you down, but that is if you are top seller.

    3) Use your personal story! You are disabled but still doing something. You will get some pity orders, you will get some I don't care I just like your product orders and you will get the you are my hero orders. I just want to be honest. Use your story. I mean for you to be doing something and working hard despite your issues is a good thing. People will admire that, respect it and you will stand out. That is the key. Standing out.
People don't just buy into what you offer but will buy into you. So do it!

How do I know all these things? Top Seller for 2 years, that is how I know. We are one of the best in the Spokesperson field.

Bro, I really hope you feel that I am bothering you . After reading your reply on my thread about my physical disability I replied back to you on the forum asking you for a few things. But the thing is I can't seem to find my comments and now I'm confused about whether I actually replied back on your comment . But I received an email notification through my e-mail that a new response was given in the forum so I thought you had replied back. Maybe I am confusing your little so I'll make it more straight . After you responded the first time to my thread about my disability I got back to you yesterday on the thread but I can't seem to find that anywhere so now I'm not sure if I actually posted the reply or not.

Can you let me know? Because if I didn't I will re- post it there again and if I did I would like to get your opinion on the reason why I replied back to you. Since I have a few things I would like to talk about

The answer to your question is that the main thing you need to do is get good feedback from Gigs that you do, which means you need to only agree to do jobs you understand clearly and can do well, and then always do a good job, and in less time than you agree to.

That's all really . . . posting Gigs that never get any sales doesn't do you much harm.

In your profile, I'd focus more on what you can DO, and what experience you have, etc. than who you are, although do tell them a little about yourself too.

BUT, having said all that, Fiverr is a competitive place, and it's easy to put up lots of Gigs and never get any interest, so, I suggest a strategy which I have used more than once, and which guarantees you'll sell some Gigs. When you've sold some Gigs and got good feedback from the buyers, then it's much easier to sell other Gigs. That's the most important factor in making good money on Fiverr. So . . .

    Secret Fiverr Success Strategy,

. . . that will help you sell some Gigs quickly, get good feedback and grow from there . . .

While you can post some Gigs that you can do, a better strategy is to continually scan the Wanted section, and when you see a Gig you can do, immediately create a Gig using their exact wording (giving them precisely what they ask for), and contact them with that Gig as soon as you can.

Do that a few times and you'll get some buyers, get some positive feedbacks, and be off to a good start. After that, think what will make the best money . . . higher-paying gigs, things you can do quickly, recurring jobs (article writing is one example) and other things you can do to maximize your earnings.

    Hope that helps

    Chris

I'm a Fiverr top seller. You can advertise more than one gig on your profile, so you can pick up orders for more than one skill. As people will see what else you can do, they will have the option to order other gigs later from you when they need it. Maybe you shouldn't mention your disability, but focus on all the positive skills you have in your personal description.

If you need to take a break and don't have any vacation time left, you can pause the gig, with an "overbooked" message. I've done that and it hasn't harmed the orders. In fact, people message me to let them know when I'll be back.

I think that buyers appreciate the personal touch, so it's important to say that you will take great care of their work (and mean it). Answer even the "dumbest" questions with courtesy. I think also that keywords count, so make sure you include the right words in your descriptions. If you don't want to put a picture of yourself on your profile, find an attractive or striking image that fits the gig description. You can have different pictures for each gig.

    Good luck.

Thanks for the feedback everyone .
However I'm a bit confused about one thing. Some of you have to told me to let my customers know that I'm physically disabled and some of you have said that it is better not to mention that. Let me give you an honest opinion on why I thought I would like to let them know.

The reasons I wanted to mention my disability is because

    1. Most people are consderate it in this world and someone seeing the fact that I may not be able to perform as quickly as others would mean that they would probably give me some time but not always. It means that if I'm supposed to make a delivery within a day and I end up taking two days I was hoping most people would understand and the a be a bit considerate. But of course the downside to that is they would just look for someone else who can do what I'm doing. Which in other words means I will be losing customers. And I doubt that I can do anything that is so unique that nobody else can do. I don't expect people to give me extra orders because they want to help me make money. Infact that would be a burden on me 'cause I wouldn't be able to deliver time. I would rather take two orders and be able to deliver it on time then take five orders and and mess of the whole thing. So the main purpose of wanting to mention about my disability is to get some consideration from people if I fail to deliver on time. And definitely letting people know about my condition will not be the highlight of my profile but rather a side note. For example th if I write something like 'I'm physically disabled and I promise I will try to deliver your work within time but in case if I fail or take a bit more time please do understand that it wasn't my intention'

So would that work well ? In letting them know that I will definitely try to deliver their work on time but giving a side note of my problems in case if I fail to ? I was assuming then at least it would save me from some bad reviews when people know that I have a real reason.
