It looks good. However, I've submitted my name 2 times, confirmed my email and I did not receive any software.

Are the guys still 'alive'? Has anyone received a copy?

Yes, I finally got it downloaded and got it to work!

There is an initial work of registering but it took no more than a hour to finish registering all 80+ article directories. (Yeah, they auto populate the entries for you, all you need to do is just click!)

I've just submitted an article to all the 100+ article directories, 80+ automated, 20+ semi-automated.

Whatever it is, I got my spinned article submitted in just 20 minutes to all the listed directories.

Powerful stuff. Highly recommended!

If you add another 100+ new article directories, you'll be giving Article Post Robot and Article Bot a BIG challenge...

I have just started to use Article Submission Helper.

Question: When I click on spinning an article, I cannot see the result of a spun article. All I see is the original article. Where within the program can I see a spun article?

Brad Callen's free version is not working right now. I downloaded it, but it errors out when you install it. But never worry! I still get all the emails promoting his elite or pro version...or something like that. However, I think if you go the Callen route, it's probably a better value to just purchase SEO Elite since it includes the submitter.

Just found the Article Submission helper a few days ago and I can't believe such a great program is being offered for free!

You have to put in the article in the spinning syntax (curly braces and pipes) in order to spin. It doesn't rewrite articles automatically.

I had no problems downloading the program a few weeks ago and it installed fine.

Have you actually added any new directories to the program? I haven't yet. I was curious about your experience doing that.

Yes, you can spin all the text-elements, including resource box and title.

The one drawback the ASH has, is that apparently you can't make custom lists of directories to submit to. Or has anyone found an option to do this?

There are some themed directories in the auto-submission list, that I would like to remove (not much point in sending my articles on SEO to the christian article database ^^).

okay, I downloaded this and installed it successfully. I auto registered for all the directories and even received a ton of "account confirmation" emails from the directory admin. EVERY one of these emails is identical, but from different directories. Also, when I click the confirmation link in the email it says that my account is already confirmed or disabled...something like that. When I try to login it says that my account has not been confirmed and asks if I want another confirmation email. I do that, and get the same message when I click on the new confirmation link.

Anyone else have this problem? I can't submit articles because my accounts did not register properly, apparently.

Yes, I had the problem with some of the directories within the program. One thing though - the emails look identical (as do a lot of the sites) as they will all be using the same article site script, maybe a cheapie they all found from Hotscripts or somewhere. The program works with very few of the wordpress based article directories as they will throw up and e-mail to you a random password to use rather than the one you have embedded in the program so log in will be impossible on auto but I guess possible on manual.

In fact there is a fair proportion of the sites that do not recognise the log in (even when confirmed), have disappeared completely, have server issues or errors (maybe on free hosting?) or have stopped accepting articles. One or two of them have caused Avast to throw flags in the air too so the list of sites really needs to be looked at before using it. An updated site database is needed soon, I think.

But I have submitted a couple of artcles with it so far and figure that, if it actually delivers to the high PR ones successfully and misses say 30% of the really crap ones, then thats OK.

After all its a freebie.

I've actually updated the db less than a month ago, so if you're using the latest version most of them should be ok. Also there's an option to remove directories now so you can get rid of the broken ones as soon as you see them.

Re the confirmation emails, it's the same script indeed, and those links expire so you should click them asap after the registration. If they expire, you have to register anew.

And re wordpress, you can log in to those directories and change the password manually. You only need to do that once, after that it works in auto mode.

Saul, I think the software is awesome, but I'm being really dumb about putting a link in my signature box. Is it possible to put a link in - have to presume it would be in order to make backlinks. Please can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?

A good feature would be the ability to mix paragraphs during spinning. By that I mean having 3-4 versions of maybe 4 paragraphs. As well as changing the word in the article, paragraphs with sentences changed could be mixed around. Am I making sense?

Since it supports multi-level spinning, you can actually do that, albeit it can get a little messy. Ex.:

Paragraph 2
|
Paragraph 3
}

And of course the paragraphs can still use braces and pipes to spin.

I just wanted to say thank you Saul' for this great software. I came across it about two weeks ago and I was shocked when I found out it was free. I posted a thread on WF and was surprised to see most people hadn't' heard of it.

I have used a couple of different paid and free article submission softwares, and I believe ASH is the best one, even though its free.

I use at this time Jon Leger's The Best Spinner but time consuming because I have to add the user-built synonyms word for word. I am eyeing for Matt's Rapid Rewriter and ContentBoss but I'm not ready for their price tags yet.

Yes, it does.

Note that the button for ContentBoss says 'Auto Rewrite' which is what it does - rewrites an article and produces a spinnable version. The actual spinning is done by the submitter. Just enter an article in spinner syntax and try it out.

On about 2/3 of the directories it is saying my login info is incorrect. What could make this happen?

I am battling to add custom directories as the manual does not fully explain the adding of HTML codes in the different fields. It does not also explain what each of these fields mean. As a newby are there any detailed manuals available on how to properly set up custom directories.

Downloaded and installed it.

Please test all links before you use the auto register tool. There were 2 sites that tried to load viruses on my computer, a couple that redirected to other sites, including an adult site, and 3 sites that were hacked.

I also had to remove about 30 useless sites from the list. The list is badly in need of updating and cleaning.

Useful piece of software, especially for free, but do your due diligence beforehand and check each and every site on the list first, before you use the auto register function.

Just wanted to clarify.

The software itself is a useful piece of software. A little cumbersome to use, no way to delete directories from the software database, and adding new directories to the list is a difficult process, however, that said, for a free piece of software, it works as good or better than other free software I've tried of the same kind.

The main problem I found was the directory list. So far, I've found dozens of hacked sites. A couple redirects and 2 attack sites (virus). I also found numerous sites using the same directory script platform that seems to have a problem confirming accounts. Along with all those, and the broken sites I've found, I've had to move about half the sites to the trash.

I'd like to see a clean list and frequent list updates, and have it so that you can delete bad directories completely from the software. A little easier method of adding new directories would be nice, if possible, too.

Some more work on this and it will be a nice piece of software rivaling some paid versions.

Just my advice and experience with the software. Hope this helps.
