So, you know how it goes, don't you? She was in charge of instructions and creative advice. On the other hand, I was in charge of beer. It's just like one of the guys was reading my mind or maybe I lost a track of time and it had become pretty much obvious that I was thinking about the best possible answer about my work.
You don't have to worry buddy. When we enter your home, we saw that your laptop was turned on. It's the middle of the working week, so you probably work from home. Judging by your handshake you have soft hands. It's like you're playing the piano or something. Either way, I just asked a polite question to start a conversation while we work. We have a website. We invested a lot of money, so it can look properly. We also invested money in Google ads. This is how you found us in the first place. So, you can be totally relaxed. We don't need your help neither we plan to bother you with questions about the Internet and stuff. We may be carpenters, but we consider ourselves to be the 21st-century carpenters.
Needless to say, I was totally stunned and speechless. This wasn't something I expected. There was no way I could have seen this one coming. So, I did the only thing I could possibly do in this situation. I offered more beer and I asked is there something more I could do to make their job be more pleasant and easier while they were staying in our home. The carpenter with the amazing Sherlock Holmes deductive skills had an interesting idea.

The guy who wrote the song had some guys working something for him in his kitchen. Or, he saw some guys working and couldn't help himself overhearing their conversation. When you hear the lyrics Money for nothing, you realize that these workers didn't think highly about the musicians. This is how the phrase money for nothing was used to describe their work. On the other side, the workers thought that they were doing is the real work for real money. So, I was afraid that you will play us this song and laugh because we don't know what it means. But, we actually know what it means. We respect every man's work and so should you too.
