This is a rant, but I'll keep it short. If this thread gets '86ed,' no biggy.
I'm starting to see WSO's popping up that are breaking the rules laid out in the sticky called "WSO Rules." Namely, some sellers are not offering discounts over what the general public pays. That is a requirement, not a suggestion. I recently mentioned this to a WSO seller and let's just say that the reply I got was insulting to my intelligence (and everyone else's). Now, this is not about wanting to save a few bucks, ok. It's not. It's about the rules being applied fairly and at all times. I love WF, but it'll go to hell in a handbasket faster than you can blink an eye if people get away with flaunting the rules. OK, I'm done. Hit me! John |

I agree.
If it's not a special offer, then it belongs in the classifieds, right? Thank you, John, for speaking up and being the one to take this brunt of this seller's insult to our intelligence. By the way, mystery seller, lashing out is not very warrior-like. |

Agreed. It is rule #2
2. A Warrior Special Offer Means The Price You Give Must Be Better Than The Price The Public At Large Can Get. (This is not a "buy my product" forum, it is a "Special Offer" forum) |

You can report WSOs that are not following the rules, John. Then you can let the mods do the dirty work and not have to deal with jerks who can't be bothered to read the rules to begin with.

I agree, I have seen some WSO offers that were not special at all, and over all the WSO section has taken a hit over the last year,(
I think Allen is starting to address that issue with the new paid status of the forum and I expect to see additional measures taken to restore the warrior forum to its former glory in the near future. But I do agree with you that over the last few months the WSO section has not been that special with every one and their brothers showing up to hawk stuff that would qualify for reseller products, I see this as a call for better more qualified products in the WSO section, that means there is a need for those better products,) thanks for posting that. |
