Greater project value - Fewer client problems
Then, I had these small, not to say micro projects, worth only few hours of work. Some of them were a living nightmare. A problem here and a new requirement there. I'm not saying that these guys weren't generous or something. But that was such a torture that I was almost to say, OK I don't need any money, let's just end it. I don't know what went wrong, but it was like that. The less money I'm supposed to get, the more problems I have ended up with at the end. It's unbelievable.
So, is this some kind of an unwritten rule, I'm not aware of? Should I focus on the big projects only instead? The trouble is that some of these small and micro projects can turn into the big ones. You know, some clients like to test you first with some small work and parts of the bigger projects. All I'm saying that there are clients literally throwing thousands of dollars in your project with no single problem or thing to worry about. Then you have a pizza price project and you are demolished by all problems and complications.
Is it just me or we can talk about a rule here?
