Do I have a chance?

Hi,

My second affiliate site is soon live but I have bad feelings about it, What you think, does it sell at all?

The site is for the Clickbank product (keyword tool) with a gravity of 30. I have a sales page for it with a video that is copied from youtube and my own cartoon video for the product.

I am going to have it to the top page of google with 5-7 targeted keywords. I assume that I get at least 180k visitors per month.


Again, do I have a chance?

    My first question, is how do you expect to get it so high in the SERP (unless you are talking about Adwords) for 5-7 keywords providing 180k visitors?
    Naturally there are other black holes here - in terms of what it looks like and the best presentation etc. But before any of that - how are you going to get so many visitors?
    IMHO and experience - if you are talking about natural serps - you have zero chance unless there are pretty much no other sites competing.

    Sure, if you can bring 180K visitors to your landing page, someone will buy it regardless how crap the product is. that is how it works. numbers game.

    I agree with TracktoHead. Unless there's no competition, you have no chance. Try promoting products using paid traffic instead.

    There are some competition and more competition for that niche. These calculations are not precise. You can calculate with keywords for that niche and see that it's possible to have that amount of visitors per month with 5-7 good selected keywords.

    My question was for the product. I think it's not good enough. It's too late to change the site now as the site is already live. We'll see what happens. I have a plan b. This is just a test. I hope I get my money out that I invested.

    Hi:

    If you can get 180k visitors to you landing page or site then you should definitely make it. If the site has adsense then you could make a few bucks from that.
    Since you are selling a clickbank product you should do well. If only 1% of your traffic buys then you have 1800 sales per month @ $10 is $18,000.

    The premise is based on you getting 180,000 visitors per month and 30% (54,000) opt in to your free gift. Thirty percent is kind of low, so that is a doable #. If 3% of those 54,000 buy then that 1620 sales. at $10 is $16,200 per month.

    It's all based on the initial traffic= 180,000

      These posts are not negative their constructive critism!


      What do you expect when you through a number of 180K visitors a month from 7 keywords?


      Sure google tells you that you can get 40,000 searches for a keywords, but in reality


      this is not how it works!


      Paid ads get a lot of % of clicks and even in position one on page one you will only receive 20% of clicks


      That is if you have a clever title.....

    Depends how difficult the 5-7 keywords are to rank

    Focusing on specific "selling" long-tail keywords might be a better strategy to implement.

    Forget about Clickbank's gravity number. I used to promote a product that at the time had a gravity of just 1 and it converted like crazy. There were hardly any affiliates promoting it hence the low number. Just because the gravity of the product you're promoting is 30 doesn't mean it will convert well.
