Which Tracking Platform is the Best?

Hello everyone.

I have just built a affiliat network and I have started to run some offers. However, I have meet some problems on selecting a well-performing tracking platform. I managed to use hasoffers at first but I found out the cost is too high for us to afford. So is Cake. So I wonder if there is any tracking platform provide the similar service with a lower cost?

I have asked some of my partners and someone recommended me Offerslook. Or if anyone know anything about this platform? I thought it should be also a great tracking system as well.

    Hi Kris Bill:

    There are several tracking programs out there. I use ClickMagick. You can check them out. They offer a lot of tutorials so if you are new to tracking they can help you understand it.

    There is another program I'm familiar with Clickperfect. I don't have the details on that one though.

      You can track where sales are coming from. How many unique clicks you are getting from an ad source. You can see if you are getting fake traffic. You can split test landing pages.

      I would go with them any day. They are truly amazing.

      Plus, many of the very successful marketers online use them.

I need to provide the information of my credit card but I just want to see the basic features of your product.           It's NOT my product.

          They offer a 14 day trial so it is worth it. You do have to enter your credit card and you can cancel if you don't like it before the 14 days are done.

            Sorry about that.

            I know about the 14-day-free-trial though other platform like Hasoffers or Offerslook provide that for 30 days. Maybe I should signup and have a try at first. Anyway thanks my bro.

    There is no such thing as 'best.' Everyone thinks the product or service THEY use is the best. You are getting very biased answers to a question that doesn't have an actual answer.

    Thank you everyone for your advises. And I sincerely agree with Frank that there is no BEST tracking platform but the one which meet your demands with a acceptable price is the 'best' one to you. I have seen and test some of the platform you guys suggested, some are really awesome. But eventually I decide to use Offerslook. Maybe it is the 'best' to me LOL. Thanks again.

    You started an affiliate network but can't afford a proper tracking system such as HF or Cake? How are you planning to pay your affiliates?

    HF has a slightly higher click-loss then Cake (This was a while ago and might have changed) but most premium affiliate networks switched over to Cake.

    You also mentioned "Affiliate network" which makes anything such as Voluum, Thrive, CPV a bit useless.

    Those in here that mentioned Clickmagick probably bought into the WSO style sales pitch because it's years behind trackers such as Voluum and should not even be compared also useless for you as affiliate network.

      Well, I am looking for a tracking platform to lower my costs. That doesn't mean that I cannnot afford the price on HO or CAKE. I really appreciate these two systems but because my network is new, some features are seldom used, that means that some costs are wasted. It is different from paying my affiliates sir.

    ClickMagick works best for me cause is flexible and very easy to use. And more importantly like my fellow warrior rightfully said it enables you track where your sales are coming from apart from traffic origin.

    I use iMobiTrax so I can redirect visitors based on certain criteria (device OS, country, etc.). I also like that it's self hosted as I'm paranoid AF.

    They charge a bit more than some of the other trackers, but it's been the one we've used since they launched in '12.

          Yes, i think Cake is a great platform though the only problem is the price is quite beyond my budget.

          Looking for you news about Cupcake cuz i cannot see any information of it on Cake website. I wonder where can i have a try on this platform.

    OK, I found out what the deal is. It is no longer called cupcake, it is now called cake basic.

    It's the way to go when first starting out, if you want to save money.

    Here is some info I got from them.

    The backend and admin side isn’t much different than the affiliate side other than having access and visibility to all your affiliates running traffic to your or your advertisers offers. CAKE Basic allows you to setup 100 offers and unlimited users. There are 300,000 clicks included in the package and it is a white labeled solution with your look and feel when affiliates login.

    They do all the stuff that any link tracker would do. It even gives the IP address of your visitors so you can see if the visitors are people or bots. There is a free version or you can upgrade for $4.97
