Need advice in sharpening my marketing skills

Well split testing is everything, anyone can buy traffic but the conversion is what counts and so its wse to keep testing one ad against another. FB actually train you to write a higher converting ad in a way by offering a split testing facility. Just change one small thing each time and they split the traffic between the two ads. Get rid of the weaker one each time and split test again and so on. You are after a few generations going to end up with a better converting ad Important to only make one change at a time or you will not know what made the difference. I hope that helps a little.

I think that I have what you are looking for.

This guy (Michael Cheney) is a genius when it comes to getting emails read and engagement from his subscribers. After seeing his training, I realised that there is an art to getting sales from your list. You firstly have to create headlines that grab attention and make people want to open the email. You then need interesting, entertaining, educating, funny, thought provoking content that captures the attention of the reader. When they are fully engaged, you then make the offer.

Most marketers simply dive into the offer.

This guy really opened my eyes.

I advise dont more money on FB campaign. You can create a page instead. Try to use also the power of twitter which is free.

I would recommend reading a few books on Marketing / Advertising.

Here are some good ones :

"Scientific Advertising" by Claude Hopkins
"Successful Direct Marketing Methods" by Bob Stone
"Tested Advertising Methods" by John Caples
"Magic Words That Bring You Riches" by Ted Nicholas
"Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion" by Robert Cialdini

There are many other good books on Marketing / Advertising but any of the above I would consider almost mandatory reading.

Getting a lead at $10-$15 is insane. This surely means there's something wrong, either in your facebook ad copy or the content you have put up on your squeeze page.

First thing to do: Stop dumping money.

Second thing to do: What are you expert at? Fitness? ok, stick with it and outsource the rest of the copywriting and marketing stuff (I don't think you have a knack for that).

Running an FB ad is one thing, and doing it successfully is another. I have seen people making $45 profit with just $1 spent on ads. (he posted the result on this forum).

I can give you generalized advices on "how to improve your FB ads" but without seeing your ads copy, I can't address your core problems.

Do more product launches, and add customers to your list. Then promote further products to that list.

I do this and my results are akin to this.

the last thing you need to do is buy a product

you're almost there, play and test with your lead magnet...

and paleo is not a niche, get more specific. "Paleo diet after pregnancy" that's a niche, (if the traffic supports it)
