Scheduling Content for Posting

Hi,

I would like to be able to create posts, and infographics on a Wordpress site in a scheduled manner (ex: do many posts on one day and then schedule them for release throughout the months)

I would also like to interact with any other sites I might join (ex: this one - Warrior Forum)

I have heard of Hootsuite for Social Media sites (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) and have also heard of FPTraffic for uploading pictures (because - scheduling the timed release of pictures using Hootsuite was cumbersome).

What is the best tool (or combination of tools) whereby one can schedule the timed release of the most amount of content? I tend to get very busy during the days and do not really have time to continually post on social accounts or even my own Wordpress site. I know that it is important. It would be nice to sit down (say on a Sunday afternoon), write up content once and then schedule it for release.

TIA

Wordpress has an option for scheduling already built in. You can choose a time and date to align it with your content calendar. Hootsuite and Buffer are both good content distribution tools, I personally have more experience with Hootsuite and have never had any problems with the scheduling tool.

Something to note with automated posts on social media is to make sure each post is suitable for its context and don't skip out on actually being social on social media. The data proves that other users find brands who consistently talk about themselves (which includes spamming products and services) annoying and off-putting.

Sprout social is another option. If your content is more image based you might want to take some time into researching your best options. I'm sure there are platforms that are better with Instagram and Pinterest vs. Buffer/Hootsuite whos strengths seem to be text/link based sharing onto platforms like FB and Twitter.

Could Hootsuite be used to work with this forum? Or, would another tool be better. It would be nice to engage with forums such as this one through a tool as well.

You can easily do it with application programming interface, or API. In that way, you have more control over your content posting. For wp, you can use selenium automation tools.

I use WordPress' inherent schedule post functionality in conjunction with the NextScripts Plugin:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/social...ook-twitter-g/

When your post publishes to your site, the plugin automatically posts to any linked social media accounts and links back to your site and/or the original post. The PRO version is worth the money compared to HootSuite.
