Lead Generation Help

Hey Warriors,

This is my first post here and I want to begin by saying I am happy to have found this site. I think there is a lot of great information so far as I have browsed. I am hoping I am posting this question in the right section if not just let me know where better to direct this kind of question.

Second, allow me to briefly explain what I do so you can better get an idea of the kind of help I need. I don't know if any of you are familiar with this industry but I currently make money creating fan pages on Facebook as a vehicle to run ads. I pay individuals up to $100 to allow me to create these fan pages on their accounts.

Currently, I get my leads from craigslist but I am trying to think of a better way to generate leads for this kind of offer. Somewhere to better target people who would be interested in participating in this. I have run into people who sell leads ready to do this in bulk so I know there is a way to do this I just can't figure it out.

I'm not sure if I just don't know the vocabulary to better research a solution or what so any help, ideas, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    By leads, do you mean the people you pay up to $100 to start a Facebook group, or the people who actually join these groups on Facebook? If I were looking to hire people to start Facebook groups, I would find people on Facebook, not on Craigslist.

      I wasn't sure how to ask people to let me use their accounts on Facebook.

    I use a Hot Leads generator and access Facebook's database. There are thousands of people who need help. You should do well with your business.

      Can you be a little more specific here? What kind of Hot Leads generator do you use that has access to Facebook's database? This sounds like a very viable strategy.

      We run advertisements through the fan page later. So yes we pay them for the space basically. Does that make sense?

    Write or type out a list of long tail keywords your prospects might type to find the product and service you are offering. Use tools like the Google keyword planner and even Bing ads keyword tool and see what the volume is.

    Hopefully when you say "leads" you are referring to a email list! Warm your traffic up and it converts much better. It's all a numbers game going along the whole process... ;-)

      I work primarily through email so yes an email list would be good. Thank you for your tip i will read more about creating an email list. I am starting to think making a landing page would be good.

        the lead magnet would be simple enough..

        "would you like a hundred dollars tomorrow?"

        but the squeeze page copy would be tricky


        i mean a person's facebook account is like their tooth brush, heaven forbid some else uses it..


        ... all that being said. i dont understand why you need other ppl's accounts to run advertisements...


        is facebook cool with that?
