Why are these threads approved? This is like asking a bunch of people who have never seen you what size shirt you should buy.

  Comments like these discourage people just starting off and this is suppose to be a place where people can help and brainstorm. Don't understand why people like you two even waste your time if you know so much.. shouldn't you be busy making money? Or maybe you're too busy trying to spread your WSO links in a thread like this to catch a newbie customer...lol

Depends on the niche

Building an email list could become profitable if not now then sometime in the future

Upselling a premium version of whatever your product/service is

The best way is to have a freemium model where your membership is free, but you have an upgrade available for a small monthly fee. Along with adsense/promoting other products with affiliate marketing.

Well if you don't want affiliate or ads to sell to your list. Then I would suggest building/creating your own product. Product in shape of Course/Webinar/Ebook/Merchandise etc.

Sometimes this is even the easiest since you can customize it on your own audience.

create products around the pain points that the membership site creates..

you need to survey them to see what problem persistently comes up...

example:

Great, so i taught a man how to fish for free...

i then ask him what issue he is dealing with now.. he tells me he doesn't know where to find worms to bait his hook with..

now i can sell him on "how to catch and hook bait"

ubercpm is the best way to monitize your free website , since ubercpm ads approves account instantly , in starting you will get 0.2 $ for 1000 impressions but as your traffic grows your ad cpm will going to increase and goes upto $8 per 1000 impressions. and they are trust worthy too.

Well i would be wary before joining. I have never heard of them but I might only know the top ones myself. But you should research it though, because the user is quite new who suggested it.
