If you were going to try and get as much traffic as you could to a site by spending some money, what would be your go to place other than adwords or $1000 media buys?

Articles. Submiting articles, sending articles to publishers of ezines, buying ads from article sites.

I'm quite big fan of Yahoo - can sometimes get lower CPC's and there are still plenty of clicks to go round!

Let's not forget about yahoo advertising, msn adcenter, adbrite, miva, bidvertiser, looksmart, ask, searchfeed, and kanoodle to name a few.

Joe Marsh has a product called Google First Page Formula that is well worth the investment. He mentions an excellent place to post the media release that costs $20 per release. You can spend more but I have used his formula for 4 releases in the last 10 days or so and each one was indexed on the first page of Google within a couple hours of being accepted.

Great replies, and thank you. What I really ment was if you had to pick 1 place and only one place where would it be? Excluding adwords and 1000.00 media buys.

Wake up and smell the dam coffee here.
Dude if you want traffic then spend that money on llist building with some
adswaps. Find some people who you could pay to to do a mailing for you.

Or go to PPV or and 2nd tier PPC engine and get some results like now.

Articles are great if you have a lifetime to wait for a few clicks.

But this is about making insane boat loads of money fast.

Lol, what are you talking about? Where did I say anything about using articles? I have no interest in articles for this as I said "spending some money other than adwords or media buys" in the OP.

Wasn't looking for general like PPV or 2nd tier PPC engines like msn, yahoo etc. I was talking specific places that people have had success. Like if you had only one place to get it from, where would you go?

I haven't try this because of the huge amount of budget required ... but think this - joining a CPA network can bring in HUGE traffic.
