OK,heres my problem.I just installed a WP theme on my domain last night.
Im starting to post articles. But when i try and and add a link, doesnt matter what kind,it doesnt work.
I tried both of the clickbank links by copying and pasting. Then when i publish, the link at the bottom of article looks like this:
<ahref="myclickbankid.hoplink.wirytrhsfdfh.">CLI CK HERE</a>
I know thats not the right code, its just an example.
But all my links show up as the whole link instead of just [click here] or whatever i put in place.
Even the regular CB link with out the anchor text.
Do i need another plugin installed?
I have links on squid,weebly,blogspot,ect..

Want to learn how to lose weight quickly? <a href="http://http://www.YOURWEBSITEURL.com ">Click here NOW!</a>

This is how you should do your author box, replacing YOURWEBSITEURL with whatever website it was... as for the clickbank ID you can try generating a NEW ONE from the clickbank marketplace, as they have new types of links out now... perhaps the reason it is not working, is because you are using a HOP link, instead of a WEBSITE link.

You should have a website which redirects to the product you are selling, as many article directories and other places do not accept hop links in the author boxes or HTML... that may also be the reason...

But if it's not, just try the above, and if still not, then I don't know; and someone else may come along to help you...

When you're done writing the post, on the post option frame, click on the tab "HTML" there you can add the code.

In your WYSIWYG editor for your post, are you adding the link
under the "visual" tab? That may be the case. I have done that myself.

Make sure you are adding the hyperlink code under the "HTML" tab.

    Hope that helps.

    Either use the 'HTML' tab instead of"visual" tab as mentioned above;
    OR
Just add all your text for the post, the highlight the text that you want to be clickable and click the "add hyperlink" button. Paste in your affiliate link (not with all the a href extras, just the link) and insert/save.

you need a space between a and href, such as <a href=", not <ahref= as you showed in your post.

When you get to the point where you want to add a link, click on the HTML tab, then type the word(s) you want linked, highlight the word(s), then click the "link" button, and put in your link. It should automatically put in the right html code for you.

This is the easiest and fool-proof method. I use it without any problems.

OK,i have the problem figured out from the help from everybody that posted.
In wordpress you cant just copy and paste like on squid, ect. In the text .
I had to click on the [html] tab, wich i was on visual.
You have to use the link tool.I tried doing it in html tab by just copy and paste from CB and it didnt work.I tried it with a space between the A and H and still didnt work.
So,you have to click on html tab, then you have to click on the link sighn, and insert your link in there. If its an anchor text and you want to change the [click here] for something else you have to do it in the link box that drops down.
    Thanks for all the help.
Now its back to article writing, rewriting, and linking.
    WF rocks.
