Good sources for business-related statistics

82% of business owners say XYZ.
Only 36% of customers said ABC.
If I wanted to inject some statistics into my copywriting, where would be the best place for me to go? Is there a market researching company out there that sells reports for use by copywriters?
Specifically, I'm looking for research info on the importance of maintaining communication in customer relationships. How much does a simple "hello" actually matter? When do customers start feeling unimportant, when do they get annoyed, how do they respond to gifts? How much money would businesses save by nurturing relationships instead of constantly seeking new customers? etc. etc.
I generally tend to distrust random articles on the Internet, as they don't list their sources. For all I know, they're quoting something written 50 years ago that was made-up.
If I'm going to put my name on something, I want the data to be accurate.
