Hey guys i wasn't to sure if i should share this, but what the heck, your all my friends! this is just a quick little technique that i recently thought of to get traffic using Twitter...But not in the way that you may have heard of... Firstly the reason it is so effective is because firstly, no one is doing it. Secondly, everyone is posting their link on Twitter expecting people to click on it! & this is getting less effective because people dont like to be marketed to! and this applies to all marketing... So What if you didn't post your link on twitter and people still could see your link and then go to your website... Here's how: It involves using 'Twit Pic' Twitpic - Share photos on Twitter What is Twit Pic ? Twit Pic is a service that allows you to upload photos to and then share them on Twitter. It will also post an automatic tweet that you write, with the link to your PHOTO Notice i said link to your photo Now how do you get traffic to your site with a photo ? You guessed it, you can add a watermark or a little ad at the bottom of each picture you upload. Now you would need to do this in a photo editor before you upload the picture of course. Here's Why This is effective: You will be posting pictures and people love to see pictures! You are not blatantly advertising your link. You will get LOTS of people click on your pictures. And everyone who clicks the link to go see your picture will see the ad you put at the bottom of your pic. If you want to get an insane amount of people see your photo and ultimately go to your website, then try uploading some funny pics that will go viral. Trust me, if you upload a funny pic, everyone will start to Re Tweet it and you will get hundreds even thousands of people looking at your photo (which will have your ad and link on it) Go ahead give it a go Hope that helped Jani G |

I actually use Twitter this way, sorta....I upload pics of my products, which sends out a link to that pic in Twitter, then I add a comment (call to action, url) at the bottom of the picture, there's a comment section (which goes out to Twitter, but I delete that one in my Twitter stream, right away). This way if they click to see my cute pic...they have the "option" to go to my website. |
