When I learn to manage time I'll be much more successful. I admire those that can stay focused and get stuff done despite the little time they have because of school, kids, work, or other commitments.

Didgaever:

Work all day then look at the pitiful amount of work you did?

Plan to get a whole list of things done, but only got a few completed?

Get stuck on a technical thing and blow most of the day?

Spend the first few hours deciding what to spend your time doing?

Relish upcoming time for working on your stuff and have a family member take all of it one way or another?

    Yep, that's me.

I don't like to try everything a bit and doing unjustice in all those areas. I just focus on few things I can manage and keep myself focused .. Well 90% of the time.

Brian Tracy has a killer time man. cd program that really helped me to get a hold of everything.

I get more done in a week then most people get in a month and it a great felling to how you are in charge of your time.

Protect you time with all you might because there are lots of people who want to steal it.

I think the time thing goes even deeper when you are looking to scale to something like the minimal work week.

Having the master overall plan that is as clear as you can make it will aid in making the most of your time.

I personally just made a longer term goal than I've ever done before and it is very clear in doing this not only what needs to be done but scheduling when it all needs to be done by for every step of the way.

I feel after this I have been thinking to small and on too short a term.

    Scott,

Alex Mandossian has a great (and last time I checked, free for the price of an optin) audio called "Action Secrets" -- I LOVE that audio. Don't let the "free" price fool you ... it's worth $100, easily.

It used to be at http://www.actionsecrets.com -- I think it's at another domain now, but I think that domain re-directs there.

I thought you were talking about me there.

Time is something I have so much of, yet so little of, if that makes any sense. The more I get, the less I have. The less I have, the more I have to do.

    This one is very familiar.

You know, some days I am very efficient, and others days everything seems very hard. I always try to accomplish things on my list for that day. But some days it doesn't happen, and I just have to do the best I can.
