  • Did you try to analyze why all those strategies failed ?

    What keywords you targeted ?

    What headlines you used ?

    What images you used ?

There are lot of questions and lot of answers

    Best wishes

  • You are probably marketing from the wrong angle. Your ads need to coincide with your target market more. They need to tease on solving their problem and hit pain points.

Strategize on what it will take to get them from not having a website, to creating a website. You obviously have to get them to want to use your software. So analyzing competition is a good idea. In a way you have to look for the holes your competition has.

Then niche down as much as possible for the type of people you are helping. Don't let them look at it as an option, show them that this is the only way. Whereas before the other way is getting into the mess of building a website.

I assume you are UK based by your username, in which case I would be looking offline at small business centres and start ups.

Get seen and heard in trade magazines and on social media.

It's small business Saturday this weekend you should have something prepared for this.

Going offline and local is a great suggestion for your business. There is such a large, untapped marketshare there and plenty of money to be had also. People will pay more local and offline than they will over the internet. It's primarily due to a lack of competition and a lack of knowledge that those clients have. They don't realize what services are available to them online.

As for why your previous advertising failed, it's more than likely one of 2 things:

    - You targeted the wrong audience
    - Your website/landing page did not convert

In order to pinpoint which of these it is, you need to have something in place to track user activity, behavior, and bounce rate once they're on your site. And then when they leave, have the ability to follow up as to why.

A unique strategy is nothing you can come up with within a forum post. Else, it would just be a very quick and intuitive recommendation on what you might do that might somehow have a positive effect - far from a real strategy.

Since you are in my industry, I can tell you (and I assume you know it) that the business is huge and highly competitive. Maybe you should go with raising awareness for your service brand first, try to get some eCom blogs or sites on board and then go for the real lead generation.
