AWESOME Warriors -- I want to give a shout out to...

Brian McElroy and Paul Hancox!

You two are both GREAT guys, and you truly know your stuff.

Brian has been a great mentor, coach, and friend for the last several months. From all the info products I bought from him, courses and coaching I partook in, and webinars I attended... He truly is a Marketing Magician.

It is solely because of him that I started to take action and overcame my fear of failure. He opened my eyes to the fact that will never have the chance to succeed if you do not have the equal chance to fail.

And, if you do fall down, get back up and put that into your back pocket for a future rainy day. Why? Because you never fail -- you just gain experiences.

Paul has been a great friend since I met him a little over a month ago. Between his reports and his advice I have been able to position myself for success without the need for a HUGE learning curve.

He has always been there when I was confused and needed a little guidance (sometimes just a confirmation), and he, too, has helped me overcome my fears.

Because of both of these guys I am now working FULL time from home, and I am creating my information products to share my experiences and knowledge with others.

Who knows where I would be today without their support ... maybe I would still be looking for an offline job?

Anyhow, thanks a lot guys!

JC

  • How nice of you to recognize your mentors in this way. It is so rewarding to a mentor when one such as you do what is recommended and low and behold, succeed.

I'll also second Paul Hancox, he has offered me guidance in the past!

Hope this doesn't cause a sudden influx of PM's to his inbox.

I love people who give credit, freely and willingly, where credit is due! There's too little of this in the world.

The Warriors who reply give their time and expertise with no expectation but a thanks. These people are gold.

We all have our strengths and weaknesses. It's wonderful when someone's wisdom can help strengthen another person's weakness.

      Sincerely,
      Dot

Two of my favorite Warriors, for sure.

Good call and you're dead on about both.

Brian is whip smart and an all-around great guy. His
stock is definitely rising fast... as it should.

Paul is really quite a genius and has a way of making the
complex understandable. His products are truly outstanding.

Another name to add to this list would be Paul Myers but that's
a whole 'nother thread, right there...

    Best,

    Brian

Without sounding like a school girl cheerleader, I think Paul understands
people probably better than anybody else I know. His intuition is uncanny
and the way he explains what's really important in writing a sales letter
is truly something everybody has to read because he really gets it.

His AIDA is dead article is, IMO, spot on. I used to be a big AIDA supporter
but after his explanation, and my objectively looking at the typical AIDA
sales letter, I really don't think they're as effective as the alternative
      that he explains.

I really don't know anybody who thinks things through like Paul.

And don't ever get into a battle of wits with him because most of us are
woefully ill prepared and almost totally unarmed.

I learned that the hard way.

Anyway, sorry to ramble on like this. There are so many warriors here who
have so many incredible skills that I'd be writing all day to cover them all.

But I want to give a special shout out to Dean Shainin. From my email
communications with him, he is one of the most humble and down to
earth guys you'll ever want to work with. And he really knows his stuff
      too.

And then there's Willie Crawford. I don't care how big a name he might
be. One of the nicest guys I have ever spoken to. There isn't an ounce
of conceit in that man's body. And as far as knowing his stuff, I won't
even go there. The guy is as sharp as a tack.

And it would be criminal if I didn't mention John Rhodes. We worked
together once and his professionalism was beyond anything I had ever
seen. He'd email me stats of our JV daily. I mean WHO does this? I'd
work with him again in a heartbeat without even blinking an eye.

One more. George Sepich. I have never worked with anybody who had
more ideas than George. I don't even know how he thinks of half the stuff
that he does. His brain is like a non stop machine.

I could keep going but then I'd be here all day...the warriors who helped
me with technical problems with my blog, Camtasia, or whatever I was
having a problem with. Me and technology is like a boa constrictor and
a mongoose. We DON'T get along. There have been several warriors who
scooped my butt out of the fire when something I was working on was
fried beyond my ability to fix it.

To all these people...you're the ones who make coming to this place not
just a pleasure, but an honor.

    Hi,

You are 100% right! I have worked with Brain McElroy many many times...and wow
what a guy to work with.... Very supportive and always willing to help and give
    more than expected.

If my firm does technical and outsourcing stuff for him, i often ask his advice for
my own IM business and he has never refused but given me very clear directions
    and steps to follow.

Keep up good work Brain McElroy!
    Best,

Hey, thanks for the heads up. I have seen them but now I know I should really check them out.

In return, I would like to give a Shout Out to Kevin Riley, who doesn't like the Hamster King, he has one priority...helping others!!! Note how these successful people seem to have things in common....

    Hey Joshua, thanks!

Steven, where's this thing about Mr Myers tearing up the AIDA formula? I need to read it. (Does this mean we need to tear up the rule book again? )
