Ok Article Market works---- as always warriors are right!

Hello Warriors,

I have been dabbbling in article marketing for about 2 months now and I am finally getting why its so popular but not only that it is actually making money.

I have been writing my own articles to test to see if it is article writing that gets a site ranked all I have used is ezinearticles and artticle bot.

I have tried a few different Bios and found that simply saying click here or saying I am the best person in world that knows everything didnt work.

I have realised after a bit of testing that simply carrying on the article in to the resource box works so say I was selling widgets I would say

buying a new widget is going to be tough job but with right reosurces and information you will find that this normally difficult job is alot easier I have found now loading to be a great place to find the most up to date info

I have found this aproach has increased my ctr quite a lot if fact it has doubled it. I used to have just one resource box but now I write an individual one to fit each article and it works.

So I spose I should have listened to the warriors a little more and I might have found this before....lol

Yes, the bios (resource boxes) play a very important role in
the success or failure of your article marketing efforts. Apart
from that I have found, from my experience of posting 30 to 70
articles DAILY to EzineArticles.com and hundreds to the other
article directories out there, that the shorter the article,
the more it converts. So, ensure to keep your articles sweet,
short and to the point - 250 to 300 words MAX.

You see I have been writing 600 word articles ... more directories accept them... maybe I should test short ones with ezine then

Wow, I'd say that way TOO LONG and won't convert
as shorter articles, in my experience!

Yeah your reading the best site. There are some gems on the warrior!

I think I will be buying dragon naturally speaking though as I can talk better than I can write I would like a cheaper alternative though..lol

Hi Danny,

Nice post. Again this proves that writing works. I earn from writing too although as a ghostwriter. Maybe I'll do articles for myself when the proper time comes.

I hope those who are new and those not so new who can't focus will read this. Sometimes I think we make it harder than it really is.

I guess it's not hard after all but it requires persistent action. Maybe this is where most of us gets lost. Specially when there's no one looking at our shoulders.

For those who haven't earned yet why not try and write just 1 article per day for 30 days. Let's see if it will work even with that number.

And to give due credit, I got that from Jennifer, a.k.a "PotPieGirl", author of One Week Marketing Plan (not an affiliate link as I am sure that is prohibited in WF.) She linked to that post from within her course.

You've hit the nail on the head I would say. And nice job if it only took you 2 months of article marketing to figure it out, and without the coaching of people like Jennifer and Ian!

I'd been article marketing for about a year before getting OWMP, and it wasn't until then that I learned how crucial the bio box could be for effective article writing.

Wordpress goldmine is my high recommendation.
I am a member and I can't recommend it highly enough.

If you can't do article marketing with what you learn there..you can't do article marketing. But it is a simple enough system..simple but not easy but it is a great way to test markets before ramping up and investing in a product or niche that doesn't do anything.

One great tip in the original post here is to tailor your resource box to your article, rather than just using a generic one for every article. You might be surprised at the difference this small effort will make.

Glad it has helped. The hardest part of article writing is the writing some nights I sit on my laptop and get nothing done then others I can whip out 10 12 articles no problems. I have however started outsourcing some of the writing as I it gives me a consistant flow of articles whether or not I write any.

I have read many many posts on article writing but its all hard and well the cold hard facts are do whatever makes a shilling.....I think anyway...lol

I would highly recommend Dragon Naturally Speaking. It works great for me and is a huge time saver.

I would also agree with those who suggest writing shorter articles. At EZA the lower limit is 250 words. If you keep your articles that short your resource links may be visible without having to scroll down the page.

I've never tried the really long resource box that blends in to look like part of the article itself. I use very short resource boxes with a strong call to action. ie: "To solve your urgent problem Click Here!"

The short resource boxes work great for me and my CTR is pretty good.

I am going to give some short articles a shot and see what I can come up with. I do use a call to action in my resource box but customise it for the article.

Check out this interview in the War Room that Allen did with Dean Shainin. Dean talks about his model for articles which relates to what you discovered, but takes it a bit further.
