Advice for clickbank dating blog

Hey everyone,

So I've just started working on my website, cupidclarity.com and was looking for some advice on what improvements need to be done if any. The blog covers topics on dating and relationships and my goal for revenue is to promote clickbank programs as an affiliate along with Amazon. I have not gotten a sale as of yet and traffic has been minimal so far.

I wanted to know your advice on what you think needs to be done for the blog to rank but to also increase sales. In addition, I've been looking to outsource the blog content creation since I haven't had as much time to devote to the blog because of work and was wondering if anyone can recommended a good blog done for you service.

Thanks in advance

I read some of your content and it is well thought out. And the layout is clean.

Sometimes it can take awhile to find your unique voice and make yourself different from the crowd. Dating is very competitive but that doesn't mean you can't make it work.

It can take 6 months to a year of writing consistently before you start getting good levels of traffic to a blog. Not merely from SEO, but from repeat visitors and any other incoming links.

You are smart by collecting email addresses. Instead of paying a service to write content for your blog I would use the money for paid traffic to a landing page to get people on to your list.

Once they are on your list you can then share your articles by using the broadcast feature. As your list grows so does the chances people will share your articles and come back to read your blog.

You can also use the opportunity to refer products to your list.

Your traffic will then grow over time.

As far as time, you can always find time. Write new posts on your lunch break if you have to.

That being said, it's better to focus on quality than merely quantity. Sending a new piece out each week will help build trust and help people view you as an expert.

Yaro Starak has some great articles and podcasts on blogging including interviews with people who make 6 figures a year blogging about relationships.

  • Offer a bribe for subscribing to your email list. The best thing you can do to increase readership is to do research on your target market. But first identify specifically who your target market is. Don't be so broad.

If people cant relate then it will read shitty and no one will want to be on your list.

If people connect, then more people will sign up. Are your emails pre-written, or are you writing them yourself?

Then you have the privacy policy, disclaimer, and terms of use all on the top page. It doesn't look great because no one can really do anything with them. It makes it look more uninteresting.

    1. Share your posts on bookmarking sites.
    2. Share your posts on FB and Twitter.
    3. Use Keyword research to make your posts higher on searches.
    4. Use Google Webmaster tools for indexing your posts.
    5. Concentrate on writing good content - content is king.

the niche has REALLY died down the last 1-2 years...

honestly? I'd say you're probably 10 years too late on the "wave" for this niche. Not that it's dead, but there's SO much information out there now on the topic...

this isn't really a "social media" type of niche either.

    so keep that in mind.

plus you can't advertise on FB ads with this niche.

the content should be really good and make it UNIQUE as far as angles go... there's already TONS of generic sites out there... and they're all dying on the vine.
