I am wanting to achieve this layout in the pre-loaded WP theme which is Kubrick theme. Navy Blue background on the header Navu Blue Background on the footer Sky Blue Backgrounf on ''only'' the right side bar The content area should remain white background The whole site BG should be smoke grey. While the theme has the header revision option, I am not too sure as to how the background of the right hand side bar can be changed. Pls help. Thanks. |

You have to edit the CSS file within the theme. Find out the hex code for the colours you want and replace the existing code within the CSS file. If that sounds technical, that's because it is. Much simpler to invest in a program such as WP-Flex. Pearson |

Actually, none of the colours mentioned above are set by color code in the CSS when it comes to Kubrick (default). Everything is background image! Check out the images folder of the theme and create your images with the desired color to replace the original images. If you replace the original images with your own but with exactly the same names - you do NOT have to edit the CSS file. In case you will use images with different names you will have to edit the CSS file and the header.php file of the theme. |
| In the first half of the year we are supposed to work for the taxman. I think that's a mistake. Help me to get rid of the taxman ASAP - thanks! (You, too, should make less mistakes!) | |
