i mostly gravitate towards up work and hire mostly from the Philippines (not purposely) but i find people from the Philippines to be the most reliable and trustworthy.

OnlineJobs.ph is by far the best place providing you are looking for a long term relationship with the VA.
I have several staff I hire through them and not once have they let me down. Do treat them well though, as you would with a real employee.
Note that it is customary with Filipino staff to pay a 13th month as a Christmas bonus.
