Using A Photo On My Sales Page Has Increased Sales

A couple of weeks ago I put a photo of me and a
well-known political celebrity shaking hands on
one of my sales pages and the sales have noticeably
increased.

It's interesting to me that the photo and the
product I'm selling aren't really related, and
yet it seems to have increased my credibility
and encouraged more of my site visitors to make
the purchase.

The photo is "above the fold" and is the first
thing visitors see when they arrive at the site.
You may want to consider testing something similar
at your sites to see if it makes any difference
to your sales as well

(btw, this is a real photo, not a "photoshop" job!)

That is nice Brian.

Something I noticed years ago in my stats, is that a lot of people clicked on the
picture of an ebook I was selling, and I did not have that linked up. So once I had
the ebook cover linked, it brought in more sales.

People like pictures. They think in pictures. So it might be best for people to
test it both ways and see which works for them.

Better hope the political celebrity doesn't find out that you're using their image to promote a product!

You have got that right.....if the person permits you to use it, get that "write" also or you could be looking at big troubles ahead.
