What does a product launch really mean?

Hello,

I have read abit about product launches, best days to do this etc. I am launching a product soon and to be honest, will just put in on clickbank and then from there will do some marketing work myself as in articles, abit of seo work and then slowly will utilise other methods of marketing including promoting the product to affiliates. So is an actual product launch really important and what would one actually do for this??

    It's best to look for joint venture partners who will help you "launch it" you can offer them a special commission to entice them to take part. Using the JV forums here is usually extremely productive as far as that goes. You want to organize a date, presell it a little, build up anticipation for it, then LAUNCH!

    as far as the best days to do it, I'm not sure. When you have enough JV partners and you're ready? I would actually like to know if anyone has a favorite day of the week?

    If the product is IM it's nice to set up an instant affiliate system where they can
    plug in their info and instantly get marketing materials to go spread it around for you.
