Infusionsoft question

Hey warriors who use infusionsoft, I have several questions before I decide to go for them:

1) I want to know about the deliverability rate?

2) Can I use infusion soft in combination with clickbank products?

3) Lastly, did you really notice a BIG difference in your email marketing?

Thank you for your help.

Franck

I'd also like to know more about Infusionsoft.

I believe one concern going around is that when a user unsubscribes from your list, there is a prominent spam complaint button on the unsubscribe confirmation.

    Is this true?

Yes, this is true (look at the attachment to see the picture), but the issue had been addressed by one if the infusion soft team. It's an intern thing used by infusion soft.

      1. Deliverability rates vary between unconfirmed, confirmed opt-in, and transactional. Realistically, you would expect 92-99%. Of course, it helps if your subscribers are fresh and not aged resulting in bounces.

      2. Yes, you could use Infusionsoft in combination with whichever affiliate products/services you promote. It's not ideal though, it helps if you have your own services. ISPs review the URLs found in messages and if clickbank has a poor reputation, that would cascade into your experience.

      3. With our strategies and guidance, we've seen significant results in a variety of businesses. As always, with anything relating to Internet Marketing, your results may vary. There's a reason why we've attracted the larger, more established marketers.

Yes. This is for internal feedback so we can react quicker to less than appropriate activity from customers. It has helped us immensely at quickly identifying problematic customers before the ISPs and allows us to monitor the sentiment and context subscribers have on a list -- even if they did opt-in.

If you only want it for CRM then it might be fine.

For integrating with other shopping cart systems you may need custom development for integration.

If you are happy using aweber (with rules and autoresponders) then have a serious look at www.Nanacast.com (also instead of Clickbank).

I work with clients closely on the IS platform and can tell you the following:

If you're not a techie...or have deep pockets for a webmaster, stay away for now.
It's a very deep rabbit hole...but a rabbit hole that can work marvels for a business once you're ready to take the next step.

The power and flexibility behind the system is incredible and everyday I get a new request from my clients that I can easily build because their framework is so flexible.

    I'll give you an example.
In IS, you can give a person "tags" when they perform an action such as filling out a form or completing a sale. So lets say you've created a 4 step sales process.

Step 1: Name/Email and Continue button...
Step 2: Order Page with Submit button...
Step 3: One Time Offer with Accept/Decline buttons...
    Step 4: Thank you page.

You can give Step 1 the following tag: Pre-Purchase
In step 4, you create an action to remove the "Pre-Purchase" tag and replace it with a "Customer" tag after a successful purchase. A failed transaction removes the "Pre-Purchase" tag and adds a "Declined" tag.

Sounds cheesy right? Well guess what...now you have a way of knowing everyone that started the checkout process and abandoned. And you can create highly targeted emails to contact only those abandoned cart visitors. You can even segment the "Declined" visitors and offer alternate payment options exclusively.

Basically, you have your ordering system, email system and customer database all in one place. Everything "talks" to each other and you can segment people with as many tags as you like. Then you can broadcast emails by combining/removing tags.

For the advanced business person...this is gold. For the newbie...it's still a good while away.

The major setbacks for IS is the lack of a builtin membership system and an easy OTO experience. Luckily, Ryan has a great product for OTOs. And Amember/IS/VBulletin/Wordpress all work seamlessly and beautifully with the IS platform. So it's not that big of a deal.

Just remember the expense of having a dedicated IS guy on your side. If you can afford it...then IS is a great solution.
