Default Using press releases to generate traffic

Are press releases, paticularly paid press releases a good way of generating traffic ? and if so are there any good writers who can write a good press release ?

They are very effective if used properly. I would recommend checking into one of the WSOs about getting your press release ranked using Google News.

They can get you traffic and they can also get the site you link to ranked higher in the search engines.

These days paid online press releases work better.

And you really need to think through making it VERY enticing for people to click from the press release through to your site.
