Newbie here . . . and I have a question about using ClickBank with two eBooks that I've written.

Here's the deal. They both sell really well and all my transactions go through PayPal. However, I know I lose a lot of sales because some people HATE PayPal or just want to do a straight credit card transaction.

So here is my question: Can I sell my eBooks through ClickBank without offering them for affiliate programs? I am in the #1 Google position for my micro-niche and I am totally okay with the sales now. But I would like to offer a different way to pay for the eBooks rather than just PayPal.

I know I could also get a merchant account, but I want to look into ClickBank handling the transactions first.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Yes - just set the affiliate commission rate to zero

You can get around that by:

      1) Opening a 2nd seller account at Clickbank - they used to offer a discount for seller accounts after the first one, I think $25.

      2) Using software that lets you sell multiple products from one Clickbank seller account. Sam Stephens of DLGuard has one called HopGuard, and Adrian Ling has one call EasyClickmate. There may be others too.
Note: this is only necessary if you want to use affiliates (which is
      not required in this case)

CB gives you the option of listing your product in the marketplace - it's not required. If you are not in the marketplace, the affilaites can't find you in the first place.. And if you set the comission rate to zero, like harvey mentioned, you wont have anyone trying to use their own links
