Short Success Stories

Hi everyone,

I am new on this forum and I'm also new to Internet Marketing. I made the decision to have a try at this fascinating industry about six months ago. I had had enough of working my ass off and earning crap money. I wanted to find a career where I could work less hours, earn better money and not have to travel to go to work...( I'm sure we all want this! ).


IM seemed perfect...although I started with zero knowledge about the industry and just basic knowledge of how to use a computer. I gave it a go anyway and here I am now months later after all the mind blowing reading, studying and trying to sift through all the available IM information that is out there.



Looking back now I haven't really created that much but I have to give myself credit as this is all from scratch. I have learned how to use Squidoo as my main Web 2.0 application and only recently started to grasp Keyword research, SEO, Promoting, etc. I also recently created my first product sales campaign, ( that wasn't easy but I know it will get easier as I learn ).


Anyway, before this post turns into a long Bible reading, I want to get to the point.
When I first started off the excitement of this new career kept me positive and motivated but now 6 months down the line and with only $1.76 earnings in that whole time I'm starting to get days when I question myself about whether it's really possible for me with so little experience to make a living online.....a good living?!


So I decided to write this post in hope that some of you successful Internet Marketers out there would be willing to share with us your success stories. It doesn't have to be your life's story....just something brief would be enough.


Then, If us novices feel a little deflated we can come to this post and read the stories to motivate and push us forward.

I started earning a regular income after learning how to drive traffic to my websites. However, I wrote articles and built probably 10 bloggers and several other wordpress websites before I got my first clickbank sale. Most of them failed initially because no one ever found the website. My advice is figure out how to get a website on the first page of google from a relevant long tail keyword and track how many visitors come to the site each day. Search engine traffic is free. These days I make a living driving ppc traffic and building email lists, but I started making money online by writing articles for other websites. Associatedcontent.com will pay you to write articles. If you write one article a day for them you can make what you've made in 6 months every day.

My success began when I stopped trying to promote "how to make money on the internet stuff" and operated in other niches.

Once you find success and have a system, then you can offer your how to course to others - if you like.
