I´m in need of some Traffic advise

Hey all,

I´m pretty new to Internet Marketing and I´m just asking what are your methods of driving traffic to your websites.

I´ve benn writing some articals and submiting to article directories but it takes a long time and is not returning much traffic. At least not so far.

I´ve also done some traffic exchange.

Is there some method better than other?

What are you´re thoughts on traffic exchange?

You may want to do more blog commenting. Also, what keywords are you targeting? When someone goes to the search engine, how can they find you? This would be the safest place to start.

It is free source of traffic and will give your site targeted visitors.

Traffic exchange??? Sorry I'm not familiar with that term.

I seems in my browsinga nd reading the forums that it is backlinking, article submission or social bookmarking as free options

or

PPC adverts etc for paid methods.

Depends on your budget and preference.

Traffic takes time sometimes months from what I have seen personally

Interesting blog/sig link, especially the article about getting free traffic considering your thread title here.

If I were you, I'd blog comment, interact with people in your niche, submit to rss directories, submit to website and blog directories and consider syndicating my articles using services such as articleautomation.com etc.

If you've got cash to invest- PPC. Only if you bring skills to the table as well though.

I find that automated social bookmarking with something like SocialBot works well. Don't just bookmark your own site though, bookmark your articles too.

Learn how to generate visitors with blogs.

It's free and can generate tons of visitors if you blog with quality content and blog often.

I recommend Yahoo Answers and Blog commenting.

They are relatively quick to implement, and you can see results more or less straing away!

Make sure you add value though, don't just spam comments all over the place!

The more value you add, the more people will click on your link, people who actually want to know more - this is exactly the traffic you want on your site!

I used traffic exchanges when I was starting out..I hated them. You can do better things with your time! (like what I said above).

I cannot recommend traffic exchanges because everyone there is just selling, no one is coming to a traffic exchange to look for something to buy.

I do recommend blog commenting, article marketing and forum posting.These work but you need to do it daily for a long time and you will see results.
