Contacting celebrities and their management team
And yes, I know, web design, there are millions of web designers out there! however I code/design from scratch and I know my work stacks up against any web designer and I'm not saying that with arrogance, I'm just believing in my skills/talent after comparing my work with the best, I know I can compete.
Anyway, what I'm after, is some advice, tips, because I'm in the process of setting up as a freelance designer and instead of doing what most freelancers do, I want to aim high and go after the big boys, because after researching, I'm seeing many many big companies, famous people with websites that either need updating or they set-up a square space website.
On twitter, there are a few famous names I've been watching - they either don't have a website or a basic website and also one of the other reasons I follow them, is because I'm considering contacting them and their management team.
My offer would be along the lines of offering to build them a bespoke website in return for them helping advertise my services.
I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice on the best way to approach this, because I'm a friendly guy, I have a nice way about me and I'm confident if they take me serious, there is a good chance of working with them, however what is the best way to approach this, without sounding like a mad stalker fan! or sounding dodgy when i'm 100% legit and there nothing sinister about my offer.
Any advice would be much appreciated!
