hi there i decided to get to grips with wordpress and i need more info than they give on the 5 minute install i re named the file to wp config.php but now it asks for local host info database name usernames ect ect. is this my ftp details. im unsure if anyone can point me anywhere else id appreciate it thankyou Owen |

You need to enter the details of the sql database there. Usually localhost will do it unless your host has advised you differently. So, you first need to create an sql database, there should be some tutorials on how to do it with a quick google search - particulary if you use cpanel. Google search brought up this video first: |
