Making Money: Attn. Warriors near Vancouver WA - Portland OR

I'm finally making the move I've been dreaming of for a long time:

I'm relocating out of Southern California and moving to Vancouver, Washington on Nov. 1st this year - only 6 weeks away!

I don't belong here in So. Cal. - this place is just not conducive to who I really am as a person. After a number of trips to Vancouver, I've finally decided to make the move. The people there are great, the weather and environment suits my soul.

It IS a big move, no doubt. I'll be "starting all over" there - which is all at once extremely invigorating & refreshing, and also frankly a little bit scary. That said, I have a deep conviction & gut feeling that there is where I'll really thrive.

Are there any Warriors in or near Vancouver WA? I'm thinking maybe some basic networking or "moral support" would be a good thing!

Hey Marcus, we refer to Vancouver Washington as the other Vancouver.

David, you sound like you are looking forward to it. It is a pretty nice place, even though I don't like the rain. I remember getting transferred to California for a few years and we pretty much hated it. So glad that my job came to an end and we moved back to Vancouver. Unfortunately life has put me in central Oregon for a while but hopefully I too will be back in Vancouver soon. As soon as I can get the situation I came here to take care of resolved, I am back to Vancouver, WA.

Hey Tim, thanks for your reply. I'm definitely looking forward to it. This may sound strange, but I think there are far too many sunny days here in So. Cal. I don't find rain depressing, driving in it is of course something to be safe about. See you in a WA Safeway or Burgerville soon, I suppose!

when I moved to Vancouver, BC, I just bought a Skype IN Number and they don't have no numbers for Canada, so I just bought a number from other Vancouver

One day I will come over to see it is as well, hahaha
