Anyone else seeing this:

which is causing all order links to no longer work...
I'm shocked they would do some sort of maintenance in the middle of the day.

    That is ridiculous. Maintenance like this should be done in a window of 12am - 5am or something similar.

    Even in a world economy where it is always daytime somewhere most traffic is in the US.

    I cannot imagine why they are doing this other than someone does not want to do an "all nighter".

    Hopefully they will get this done fast for you guys using that. This is one of the reasons I always use a cart I control, I hate having to rely on other peoples ideas of support.

    Hey Brad,

    Frankly, I don't think it's system "maintenance". I think there's a system meltdown/crash and the "maintenance" message is a euphemism to say the least -- they never do regular maintenance in the middle of the day on a weekday.

    Not only is 1shoppingcart system down, but their actual *web site* is down as well: Scheduled Server Maintenance.

    I know there's no such thing as a fool-proof system, but at this point, with all of us online marketers whose entire businesses depend on this one tool -- you'd think they have more redundancy and backup in their system.

    I might say something like that to if I had a problem with my server so that people wouldn't get worried.

    But then I would think they might realize that customers might get pissed that they weren't notified of such an issue.

          This was definitely NOT a regularly scheduled maintenance issue. That message was a generic canned message we displayed immediately so we could jump on fixing the problem. As soon as we had a minute, we updated the message, but it has taken us hours to get to the core of the problem (unfortunately).

          At this point, we will be back up shortly, certainly within the hour.

          At first, we thought the problem was due to a regular software patch (hence the original canned response). We run off many redundant servers to balance our load though, and this isn't a problem generally, regardless of the time of day.

          Please see the link above for a more complete answer, I don't want to spam warrior forum by repeating the same information in multiple threads.

          @Michael Mayhew - Definitely NOT par for course. We have been running at near 100% (99.9~) up-time for years. It's been 5 years since we had anything remotely like this.

            Hi Michael

            I have been using shopping cart for quite some time and found it quite good. However i am facing horrible issues after yesterdays update

            One big thing is.

            If you go to www.vish-writer.com/recommends/30dayschallenge it will redirect to the 1shopping cart page. If you look at the middle of the page
            I have a paypal button which was working fine till the last one year and now suddenly when i click on it it is pointing to the 1shoping cart page and gives errors

            This was working fine till yesterday . I am having a launch and i really need this to work.

            I am using the paypal code and have cut pasted that in the top html code for checkout and it was working fine. Pl check and tell me what to do

            The issue is if you click on the paypal button in the middle of the page it goes back to 1shopping cart and gives errors this was working fine till yesterday. pl correct this asap

            I am using the paypal code because i am using recurring billing of paypal which 1shopping cart does not support

            kindly let me know the solution to this please

    I used them in the past but once they changed ownership, I started to notice some problems with the integrity of their programming. I was going to use them within the next week or two for a short-term Joint Venture deal but I will need to reconsider that option.

    Hi Vish,

    One of our fantastic Support Reps Adam was able to correct your described problem by changing the form to a url and linking the button. Unfortunately there was a form within a form which caused a malfunction in the coding. This has been corrected so you should be all set!
