Is it just me or is Twitter currently Not working?

    According to these guys:

    It's just you.

    Twitter is up.

    It's working fine for me too. However sometimes it seems to go down for entire regions for a few hours.

    Oh, and sinse I'm already at it - once it starts (hopefully) working again... can someone explain me in short how do you get more followers? I'm having a real problem figuring out this whole twitter thing.
