How do I use Solo Ads to Promote Dropshipping?

I've got a good bit of experience with Dropshipping and want to branch off to Affiliate Marketing now. I want to promote affiliate programs relating to it as I know a thing or two about them but the only way I've found to get traffic for a decent price is solo ads. From all the examples I've seen with solo ads, they've all been "how to make $1,000 a hour" etc. Can you even use Solo Ads to promote dropshipping?

Sorry about the stupid question, I honestly have no clue about how to use Solo Ads.

Thanks

I dont think solo ads are available for physical products , as there are tons of products, you cant get targeted list to promote . Also these lists are already bombarded with tons of different affiliates try to make a sale so you can expect some saturation over there . As far as promotion is concerned the best way is to start $5/day Facebook ads . They are highly effective . And you can see results fast. If u want more on fb ads let me know .

    Cheers

No, I want to promote Dropshipping as like a "Make Money Online" type of scheme. Would it work for one of those Solo Ad lists? Or biz op lists?

Which is a guarantee of failure no matter what you are promoting.

Your targeting people who want to make more money or extra money. Business opportunist and not wage seekers. Dropshipping or what I like to call it moving products for profits is a way for people to make some money. Actually it is like the easiest and fastest way somebody can make money without worrying about having to get traffic in the first place.

Yeah I feel a landing page teaching or sharing knowledge on dropshipping is a good thing for that marketplace.

First and foremost, you should avoid using the word "scheme," especially when you are working in the "make money online" niche.

You can definitely tie drop shipping into the "make money online" niche and effectively use solo ads to build a targeted list.

What the OP will need to do is present drop shipping as a way to start a viable online business and make money online. This won't be hard, because it is a viable way to make some great money online.

I've got a ton of experience when it comes to solo ads. I've acquired over 100,000 subscribers from solo ad traffic alone, and I've gotten to the point where I know how to achieve squeeze page conversions of over 40% and how get my leads for little to no cost.

The solo ad industry is based almost 100% in the "make money online" niche, meaning that it's very difficult to find vendors who can send you traffic for any other niche besides MMO.

Therefore, one of the most important aspects of using solo ads to build your list is your squeeze page.

Solo ad traffic responds best to a certain type of squeeze page, and I've found that very simple ones work the best.

A lot of people use the "guru style" of squeeze page, which generally consists of a background image and then a headline and opt-in form above the fold.

My best performing squeeze pages are super simple. I put a compelling headline and then an opt-in form underneath for my solo squeeze pages. I usually also include a link to contact me, a link to my privacy policy, and a link to my earnings disclaimer. These are in small text at the bottom of the page.

It's best to set your list to single opt-in and to ask for email address only.

Since you only have one piece of copy to entice people to opt-in, your headline has to be super compelling. In the OPs case, mentioning drop shipping will probably not be a great idea, as a lot of people may not even know what that is. Instead, you want to have a more generic type headline.

Some people might think that headlines used in the MMO niche can be quite hypey, and they're correct. When it comes to solo ads, however, this is what drives conversions.

For example, here are two headlines. The first one will probably convert at around 5%, and the second will convert at over 40%.

    1. FREE Drop Shipping Guide Shows You How To Build An Online Business!

    2. Get Instant FREE ACCESS To The EASY SYSTEM That Made Me 5K Last Month!

Of course, using a generic or "hypey" headline doesn't mean you should lie. If you did not make 5K last month with your business, then do not say that you did.

Solo ads will work well to build a list centered around drop shipping and to promote drop shipping tutorial products or courses. The reason why they will work is because the majority of people who want to make money online generally have no idea how to do it, and that's why they will subscribe to your list in the first place.

They obviously have a problem, and they are hoping that by giving you their email address in exchange for your eBook, video, slideshow, podcast, etc, you will offer them a solution to their problem.

I can tell you right now, though, that getting them to subscribe to your list is the EASY part. Selling them a product as an affiliate is where it gets difficult.

In order for you to convert your subscribers into buyers, they need to trust you enough to believe in your recommendation. You gain their trust by making a good impression, from start to finish. We know that first impressions are most important, so that means that your offer/lead magnet should be absolutely incredible. You should over deliver on your promise, but be careful not to give away the farm. Remember, you still want them to have a need for the product(s) you choose to promote to them.

Another goal of using solo ads successfully is to monetize your funnel in such a way that you can minimize your cost per lead. For example, let's say you purchase 100 clicks for $50. You want to set your funnel up in such a way that it produces at least $50 in revenue from those 100 clicks. Remember, just because you purchase 100 clicks does NOT mean 100 people are going to see your offer. Only those that subscribe to your list will see your offer. If you can achieve a 40% conversion rate, that means 40 people will see your offer. If you are promoting a product that pays you $50 per sale, you will only need to make 1 sale to cover the cost of the solo. When you cover the cost of your solo ads, you are building your list for free.

So how should you set up your solo ad funnel to give you the best chance of covering your cost? There are actually quite a few ways to do this, but simple is best.

My solo ad funnel consists of a squeeze/landing page, a "redirect" page (used for conversion tracking pixels, etc), and an affiliate offer. I also have an exit pop-up set up on my squeeze page that leads to a "pay per lead" offer. If a visitor chooses not to opt-in but follows the exit pop, I get $2 if they opt-in to the pay per lead offer. This is a way to potentially monetize a visitor who was not going to opt-in anyway. It also helps to defray the cost of the solo.

In short, the way my funnel works is if a visitor opts in, they go to a redirect page for about 3 seconds and then they are redirected to an affiliate/CPA offer. I try to pick offers that pay me at least the cost of 100 clicks. So, if the solo cost me $50 for 100 clicks, I want to promote an affiliate offer that will pay me at least $50 with one sale. This way, for every 100 clicks I only need to make one sale to make back the cost of the solo ad. I almost always achieve this, and sometimes I will get 2 or 3 sales.

In summary, if you want to "win" with solo ads, here's what you need:

    - An honest and reputable solo ad vendor
    - A squeeze page that converts at 40% or better (at least 40 subscribers per 100 clicks)
    - An affiliate offer that pays a minimum of the cost of 100 clicks
    - A "pay per lead" offer to set up as an exit pop (find an offer that pays at least $2 per action)
    - A great lead magnet or "freebie"
    - The ability to build trust so your subscribers will become buyers

If you have all of the above, you will have a good chance of succeeding with solo ad traffic.

It's going to take a little trial and error when you first start out. You also need to test constantly. Simply changing a few words of your copy can result in large increases (or decreases) in conversions.

Honestly bro, you've really helped a newbie out and I really can't say thank you enough for that!

I've got a quick question about the way you do the PPL. Do you just go onto something like OfferVault and find a relevant "Make Money Online" type of offer then use that as a redirect if they don't opt into your list? Also can you do that with LeadPages?

Thanks bro. Your help has helped a newbie a very long way!

I belong to an invite only CPA network and that's where I get the majority of my PPL and CPA offers.

However, you can also find suitable PPL/CPA offers on networks like MaxBounty and Peerfly, and they are relatively easy to get accepted into. There are dozens of other networks that you can use as well. You can also look on Offervault to find offers like you mentioned. I'm sure that's a great way to find good offers that will work with "MMO/biz opp" oriented traffic.

I don't use LeadPages. I think they are wildly overpriced. Then again, I know how to build my own landing pages, so I don't really need a service like that. That said, I am pretty sure you have the ability to add exit-pops to your pages. I've opted in to some pages that are using Leadpages and they do indeed have exit pops installed.

One thing you need to know about exit pops is that they are far less effective now since they no longer work properly on Google Chrome browsers. I build my squeeze pages out using WordPress now, and I recently found a plugin called WP Traffic Up that makes awesome exit pops that are compatible with Google Chrome, so I've been able to get around that problem. I don't know if there is a free plugin that will do the same for you. If there is, I don't know of it. Also, this only works if you are building your pages on WordPress.

How I find products is different then most people. I do not look for a product I look for a problem. Because it is easy to find people with problems. Then I find a product that solves that problem. I put up a squeeze page and do 1 of a couple of things 1 I make my own course to solve the problem and give away part of the course as a bribe to go into my list. 2 I give away a complete course that I have made as a bribe and the upgrade is a even better course that will save the very same problem. Now if you find a product that is solving a problem that every one can purchase for a couple of bucks why would anyone purchase from you. So when I started I purchased PLR material and then went over it and put it into my own product changing it to my own style of thinking. I sold a lot more because people could see it was my own product and then it gave them more trust in me. Yes I am using other peoples material but changing it to my own product is a method that many well known internet marketers do. When I Skype people to solve a problem I also make a small video and send them the answer. It also helps when that very same person asked advice I then direct them to a product that I am using in my business with a affiliate link. So as you can see I sell my own products and also I work as a affiliate marketer I hope it helps Robert

I don't think that you will a list to buy , because with solo ads you buy a list with people who want to buy products similar to this that you promote

Before you spend money on any advertising try free advertising methods first. Because if you cannot get any sales using free advertising then results from paid advertising will be slow. But solo ads look for some one in your field Someone who has a list of people in your niche. Then you will get results Hope it helps Robert

If you want to do affiliate marketing and you know about drop shipping. think about this. 1 as a affiliate marketer you have many people selling or trying to sell the same product. So if you are making money as a drop shipper pit together a small course or ebook on how you are finding products and then sell your own course. You will have a one of course that people can see it is yours and you will make more money selling your own product. Try it it is fun and also worth the effort. Hope it helps

From my own experience and communicating with solo ad sellers, the only sure fire way is to send people to a squeeze page with a free offer. You then make sales from the subscriber list you've made by sending them offers by email.
