Default Longtime Warriors, Have You Reached Your Financial Goals?

Just wondering if any of you longtime Warriors (working IM for 3 years or more) are still struggling to reach your financial goals?

I thought by now I would have been finacially free and unfortunately I haven't got there yet. Still working on it though

I'm not complaining, I can work from home comfortably and love the free time it affords me.

My income has ebbed and flowed over the years. I'm wondering if I'm missing something. I think one of the areas I've failed is in networking with other IMers.

What's your experience?

I haven't been quite at it 3 years yet, but I have been going a while. Not there yet. I am on the brink of making some brave decisions though. Whether I follow through or not, only time will tell.

Networking with other Imer's though has certainly accelerated things for me.

I will never reach my financial goals. i am constantly moving the line and going for the next milestone. Here's why...

When I was about 30, I sold a small company and decided I wanted to be able to play golf good enough to shoot par. I played about 36 holes a day and then went to the driving range after that. Within 6 months - guess what?

I shot par - 3 days in a row.

I haven't really played that much golf since then.

Get it?

I did it, I was done with that challenge.

With IM and online revenue - I decided wayyyy back - I will create a new milestone instantly upon reaching my current one.

I did a $100 day
I did a $500 week
I did a $300 day
I did a $1,000 week

and I just keep on moving the line....

I must be doing it wrong. I thought the higher the score the better. Oh well, that's how much I know. I thought I was doing really well.

My goals change all the time.

Since i have been working full time for a long time now i normally make myself more quick goal's such as earn XXXX amount by X date and then buy X.

I make more than enough to live from and its always building up slowly over time but then i set myself more quick cash goals that add to my longterm goals but show me some sort of result.

I am not in the business for a very long time. Actually I am just in IM for a few months.

My first Goal was to pay off my student loans for college and thank God that has been achieved. No I am unto my next goal!
