Ideal tags for widgets re: Wordpress SEO

Hi guys-

I just wondered what everyone's thoughts for what header tag (if any) should be used for the displayed titles of the widgets to optimize Wordpress SEO (assuming that the titles don't contain your keywords).

It seems that a lot/most of the Wordpress themes have <H2> tags for "Recent Posts", "Categories", etc. One of my friends use Hybrid and I checked his site's source code at they were set at <h3> for his. Another friend uses FlexSqueeze, and the default there is <H2>.

Should I be going down to like <H4> to minimize the value of them? Maybe not put them in header tags at all (just change font, etc.).

Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
