Need your advice guys ! After 7 years I am so confused what plan to follow

Hello guys,

Please I really need your opinion and advice, as I don't know where else I could ask such questions.

I started working in IM 7 years ago, tried many things, list building, product creation, cpa, ebay and so on, but as you all know, it's very hard to follow one method until you succeed if you just starting out in IM world.

I have gathered so much experience in various methods, earned much money and of course lost much money, was scammed a lot of times, but NOW after 7 years passed I havent got nothing..I mean, I havent got any asset like list or some website, BUT what I have and what I learned in 7 years is the RIGHT MINDSET. Now I know that is right and what is wrong in IM, I know how to reach success, BUT.

Now it's 2017 and I really think it's TIME to start building something big, something which will make me money long term, something that will benefit other people too, but I am confused what path to follow. Each day I wake up and researching all forums, sites, products which would help me to start some business, but the worst part is that I don't know yet which business model to chose.

Should I start list building, should I start CPA, affiliate marketing, should I start learning facebook ads in depth...maybe start building affiliate website, amazon websites, blogging. If I chose list building and promote affiliate products, should I chose MMO niche or some different? ..dammm I am so confused ...

Guys, could you give me some advice? I have so much free time and could build masive business very fast, I know a lot of things and I 100% sure I could make killing now IF I knew what path to follow..

You see, now I even don't think so much about money, I thinking more about how to help people and make impact in their lifes..

What you guys think ?

Thanks in advance guys

Relax... Breathe... Focus on one thing at a time.

Though IM is composed of series of testing, you shouldn't test everything at once.

Evaluate which among the methods you used made you more money compared to others. In this way, you'll know what to get off of the list, and what stays. Then, whatever stays, you'll stick your goal into it!

    Good luck!

There is a big world outside of IM/MMO and even selling products.

For the past 16+ years, I have been promoting PPL (pay per lead...lead generation) offers. The reason why is very simple. There is no credit card / purchase required to complete an offer. So conversion rates are typically much higher compared to offers that require a sale to be made. Which is a big advantage.

I favor offers that have a make, get or save money benefit to them. This is what has overall worked best for me and they tend to have the greatest mass appeal (will be of interest to a large general audience). So the potential exists to produce high volume and they are fairly easy to cross promote.

The bulk of the leads that I promote pay $20-$40 each. However, I promote offers that pay more and less. One important note is that what an offer pays is not the sole key factor in its profit potential. For example, you could have an offer that pays $9 and if it converts at 2X or more compared to a $20 offer. Then it will perform about the same or possibly better. At the same time you could have an offer that pays $90 and if it converts poorly, it may not even be worth running.

Some of the offers that I have done extremely well with are: insurance, education, credit, loans, debt, mortgage, assistance, discount offers, homeowner offers, etc...

Bottom line, why struggle with trying to generate sales, when you can just provide users with free information that they want/need and get paid well doing it.

To generate traffic for the offers, I do things differently than most. I acquire data (email) that way I'm building assets that I then own and can market to them over and over at low cost. Compared to what most marketers do, which is to pay for traffic that often ends up failing to produce a profit unless they have a proven funnel in place. Or they use some free method that more than not wasn't worth the time to implement.

I buy fresh / targeted data that the users have expressed an interest in or are currently interested in a specific vertical and then I just match their interest to a relevant offer. So if I'm getting life insurance data, then I send them a life insurance offer. If I'm getting education data, then I send them an education offer, etc, etc...

In addition to buying the data, I also get rev-share data. Which is basically the same data, except I get it at $0 upfront cost and then I split the revenue generated from sending it with the list data provider.

I also generate real-time co-registration leads for specific offers.

I also buy aged / domain targeted. However, this requires additional tools and resources to process and promote it profitably.

In case you are wondering, this has nothing to do with spamming. All the data that I acquire is what is referred to as third-party data and the users have provided permission to receive messages from third parties. So it is 100% can-spam compliant. In the case of the co-reg data, the users are actually requesting information directly from me.

I will be the first to say that the data is not as responsive compared to building a highly targeted opt-in list. However, it really doesn't matter, because it is much cheaper and very scalable compared to building it yourself. The key to making it work well is to always be segmenting the openers / clickers and removing the unresponsive users. This way over time you're building smaller, but very responsive list that you will eventually be able to send less and make more with each mailing. Essentially you're converting the data from quantity to quality.

Basically, I'm monetizing the data by promoting PPL offers because they offer the path of least resistance to generating conversions and converting the data into cash producing assets.

Obviously, there is more that goes into it, but it really does work. Everyone that I know that is in the business and knows what they are doing, for the most part, does 6-7 figures. While that may be a huge range, much comes down to one's ability to scale and effectively build/manage the infrastructure needed to scale.

While it'snot for everyone, it certainly something to think about.

Why not start with the method you made money at?

One method doesn't mean you can't combine it with others. A blog + listbuilding etc.

Pay attention about things that you are passionate with.

Then go for it and never give up. If you know Ewen Chia you will feel better.

Why? Because after his first 5 years started with IM, I earn nothing.

    Don't worry. Just keep going.

If you want to build something long term, and something that gives value to people, go with blogging.

More to the point, blog about your favorite hobby,

This serves two purposes, first, since you know a lot about it, you will be able to write about it in such a way that shows experience--and it will come through in your writing.

Second, you will--I am going to assume--know some good products that you can promote int this niche.

Plus, if you have purchased these products for yourself, with no thought of promoting them, and have actually used them, you can write real, in-depth reviews of these products--reviews that go beyond the typical--good product--style reviews.

And again, this will come through in your writing.

Not only will blogging about your hobby give value--you will be building a long-term asset, and you will, I am sure, have some fun doing it!

However, regardless of what you decided to do, two things.

First, make a decision-and do not take forever to make this decision.

    And second,

Once you make this decision, stick to it for say 100 days--so that you know you gave it long enough to actually work.

    DO IT!

    Hope this Helps
