Risk of getting banned from Autoresponder service

Pretty easy to avoid it, read their terms of service, they all have guide lines on what not to do just like Facebook Google etc.

Long as you are giving value and not spamming your list with information that is not relevant to why they signed up in the first place then you will be fine, just take care of your customer (Which is what they are!) and they will take good care of you!

Always treat your list as your most important part of your business, once you capture their information it isn't then time to spam them with affiliate offers to cash in on them. Continue to give the same amazing value in content that got them to sign up in the first place.

Twice a week you could send out a good offer for them that might benefit them or their business, make sure the affiliate product you offer them is of good value and something that they would be interested in.

If you start to get a high volume of unsubscribes from your email lists then you will need to investigate why, that is a sign you are going in the wrong direction.

Self-hosted software like Sendy has very good deliverability. But the condition is that the list must be a built by you from ground up. It's even better when you build the list through the software and not exporting from Infusionsoft, Aweber, etc to the software (Sendy).

However, Aweber won't kick you out for no good reason, just make you are not violating their TOS and you will be find.

Read and follow thier rules. Have a double opt in to keep complaints down. Don't spam your list with unwanted content.

I just listening to a podcast with Igor Kheifets and he said that's what happened to him. Aweber shut him down and his list was 100,000.

He was pissed!

I often thought about what I would do. I have been with Aweber for years but sometimes I thought about using a service that better understands the IM niche like GVO.

I have found the best way to reduce spam complaints is to email on a frequent basis. If you wait too long sometimes people tend to forget who you are.

first,you should have your list backed up.

second, if you have a list that big you should probably be handling it on your own and not using something like aweber, But if that is not the route you want to take, then you should already be talking to other services and asking them how to migrate your list to their platform.

And, with a list of 100k you should probably have it spread out over 2 or 3 different services.

And most of all don't do things that could get you banned.

Sendy is just a platform for sending emails, like interspire and we need to have some hosting, some server to send email thrue and it's not so easy to reach the inbox.

Aweber or getresponse is more strict to IM niche?

Sorry, but the only way "shit happens" in this scenario is if you squat and squeeze. Aweber isn't going to kick you out, especially if you are paying them to handle 100K subs, for no reason.

But, since you already flushed your Aweber account, here's what I would do.

I'm currently looking at an open source self-hosted program called Mautic. I've used another self-hosted solution for years, but I want to get more sophisticated without having to have add-ons coded every time.

I'd host the database on Amazon Web Services and use their Simple Email System for sending.

Then I'd take a big dose of digital Imodium to make sure "shit happens" doesn't happen.

The truth of the matter about this is, most BIG MARKETERS are not putting all their eggs all in one basket.

You should have at least 3 or more different autoresponders that you are using at any given time to get the best deliverability and have a diverse way of sending emails.

And if you get kicked out of one (for some strange reason) you will still have back-ups to keep your business afloat.

And always back-up your list at least once a week if you are getting a nice daily optin rate.

Spread your data out over multiple ESPs.

If you find that you're not getting good deliverability to a certain provider from any of the ESPs, then move the data for that provider to an ESP that is getting good deliverability.

Backup your list is the no.1 IMO
Spreading it across few autoresponders is also a great idea. They won't kick you without serious reason, and if they do you can try to move to other providers with your backed up list.

Did they say why?

Seeking an alternative and continuing the actions that got you 'kicked out' maybe reason for another kicking by your new one.

Assuming it's because your emails received too many complaints or unsubscribes then even with self hosting, there's a feature in gMail that makes unsubscribing easier (user doesn't have to click the unsubscribe link in your emails) and if this occurs too often with your new one then your back to square one

Seems no matter how I try, my email address gets added to another list and sold on for profits to more solo sellers + MattGill (named culprit) still manages to enter my spam box using different email addresses!!!!

Use GetResponse it's more flexible with "Make Money Online" niche.

This is why I'm currently with Sendlane.com

It's run by actual and legit online marketers, and as long as you genuinely do follow the rules, you'll be fine, and won't be kicked off for any reason. Sendlane was built with us online marketers in mind.

Since a lot of sites don't have Sendlane as an autoresponder option, GetResponse is my back up one, though.
