It's Sad When A Sales Receipt Comes In...

And you know you'll never see the money.

I won't go into detail but...this is something everybody should do.

For products you promote that don't get paid via Clickbank (they always
pay you if you meet the minimum) such as PayDotCom, make note of any
merchants that you promote who don't pay you when the pay period ends.

Report them immediately to the affiliate program.

The reputable ones will remove them from their program.

Take down any promotional pages going to these products. If the merchants
don't pay, there is also a good chance that they won't deliver on the product
either. This in turn can actually hurt your reputation because you are
the one who recommended the product.

I know it's a pain in the butt, but this is something we really should keep
on top of.

At the very least, we don't want to waste time promoting products that
we know we won't get paid for and we certainly don't want angry
customers writing to us with their complaints.

It sucks when that happen. It happened to me a few months ago. And there's nothing I could do about it because of ejunkie. Luckily, I got in contact with the CEO of the company and they paid me. It was a few hundred dollars short of what they owed me, but at least I got paid something.

One place that you should be cautious of is ejunkie. They won't help you out at all. So, if you promote any products from ejunkie, you are on your own if the vendor doesn't pay you. Or at least that's been my experience with them.

I think that you are both missing the point here.

I would respectfully suggest that you read the OP again.

        Regards,
        Jeff.

Actually Jeff, I think what they're saying is that they won't promote
somebody's product unless they are paid right away like with something
like RAP. In other words, if they have to wait for the merchant to issue
payment, they don't want any part of it.

Problem is, there are fewer of those floating around than your standard
affiliate program where you have to wait 30-60 days to get paid, though
I could be wrong now that RAP is increasing in popularity.
