Possible without a blog?

Can you do affiliate marketing without a blog? So i heard this way of doing it. First you create a lead magnet (Assume this is really good) so the user gets it and likes it. This means you got their email and then u just market them your affiliate product? You have just given them 1 thing and would they buy? Are there people who have done this and made a substantial profit?

^ I wanna know how many people do this? This way probably requires paid traffic.

Because I am thinking making a blog with lead magnet and making few posts and after like 6 -12 months, you market them a product on email. <- this way makes sense to me when selling products.

Not many ppl are doing what you describe. Why would someone avoid having a website?

Your website is your means of everyday communication with your potential customers. There you share your ideas and show everybody that you have a deep knowledge of your subject. Starting from there, you should try to grab your visitors emails and then start promoting affiliate or other products to them. This shouldn't take 6-12 months, of course, but should start right after the day they opt into your email list.

On theory you can do it, however it's hard to do without a blog and content. You need a website in order to sell your products, that's a better way.

    Good luck to you,

Yes, You can do affiliate marketing without website as well. But it is too hard to get any conversions without having a website. Website gives you an opportunity to centralize the things and help you create quality content with visuals as well. This will make marketing more easy.

You definitely don't need a blog to be an affiliate marketer but I do believe it's in your best interest to start a blog.

It takes time, but in the long run, the benefits of owning a blog that you post on consistently telling your story of your journey in IM will build you a following and a list of people who know like and trust you.

I know successful marketers who regret not building, or carrying on with their blogs.

    Good luck.

Absolutely ,you do not have to have a blog. Having a blog is not a necessity, imo.
Although if you are good at it , it will only help your business and brand it that much better

What you've described in your post
is the official gold standard of IM.

Problem is, it's also the most difficult
way to do it. Like you said, you'll need
to use paid traffic, and you'll need a lead
magnet that converts at at least break even.

If you don't know what you're doing you'll
run out of money pretty fast.

    As for blogging...

Well, I think most people do blogging the wrong
way. The way I view blogging is that each one
of your posts should be seen as a type of
landing page. If you can rank those pages
for whatever key then you can get traffic
and build a list with it.

Instead, most people mindlessly churn out
blog posts, thinking that the more they write
    the better.

This is B.S. and a waste of time.

The best example of this is Brian Dean's
Backlinko. The guy hardly ever posts and
each post is super high quality and ranks
highly and is set up to get the maximum
    number of opt ins.

Yes. Most people do affiliate marketing without a blog.

Collecting emails is one way to do it, there are many others as well.

Paid traffic does work best IMO.

The best way to get someone to buy your affiliate product is to build a relationship with them first. That can be accomplished on social media I guess. But you'd be far better off doing that on your blog.

If you write three or four tutorials your target audience needs then even better. Then you have a shot at establishing authority with whomever reads it.

That established authority will sell a lot of affiliate products.

You don't have to make the tutorials book length either. Maybe 1000 - 2000 words. Use screenshots for images.

Either way you go with the project I wish you luck with it.
