Newb who wants to get into affiliate marketing

Affiliate marketing is still one of my favourite ways to make money online...

FInd a product you love to use and talk about it... youtube still works great for this but blogging has been the best way for me.

Affiliate marketing is no where near dead, it only keeps evolving every now and then. Only those who have failed to adapt have been left behind.

the more people that think its dead is good...less competition for me

Get focused and do not buy every single product out there promising you to make money. Here's a major tip that nobody ever told me but it took me three years to figure out.

Making money online whether is through your own product or affiliate offers is all done the same way. Here it is in short. Getting targeted traffic and all you need is one source but get that traffic and send it to a high converting sales page and you will make money.

Thing to do today is build a list with that traffic first. Increases conversions plus you now have a instant traffic source on demand. Your list!

Affiliate marketing is going strong and a perfect place for you to start.

There are a few different ways to get involved. I think review blogs work well, I'm thinking of going down this route myself.

Either way, I still think it's good practice to have a blog where you can post weekly journaling the good the bad and the ugly, to build yourself a following of people who know, like and trust you, and who will buy from you.

You can also approach people on muncheye who are planning to launch a product. Ask if you can buy or get access to their product, so you can either review it or get to know the product well enough to make a bonus that compliments it, helping you to sell it when you promote it.

You'll find, when you're starting out that the bigger name marketers wont entertain you, so build yourself up, approaching the less known vendors.

Take one of these and see if you can sign up to be an affiliate.

Why?

Simple.

If you purchased it for yourself then you must have an interest in the product or niche--so this is what you should focus on.

For sake of example we will say you recently bought a new set of golf clubs--as you are really into golf--perfect.

Enter the golf niche.

You can set up a blog--and blog about golf.

You can put up a Youtube video where you talk about how you took five strokes off your game--and of course you would be recommending a product that you are an affiliate of in your video.

Get out there on social media and interact with people the niche.

Join a few forums in the niche you choose and see what people are taking about--as these are the topics you will want to blog or make videos about.

However, with the above said, the most important thing you can do is to pick a niche--and get started--and stick with it--long enough to know your approach is working.

Too many people jump from project to project and as a result make no money--but they sure spend a lot.

Problem with me isim ftom india here earning Online is really a hard task when no one supports your back. And everyone is ready to be a stone in ur way !
All i know about affiliate marketing is I'm good for finding products as i know how to use Google very well so i can find lowest price online of a product easily so i thought to start affiliate for electronic and mobilephones ! Some of tge best seller phones habe 0.1% commission nd on electronic its 2% so my earning is hardly 40-50$ per month suggest something ! To earn atleast 80% score

DChan88, people love to buy stuff, so give them what they want to buy, and you will enter into the world of Affiliate Marketing.

You get paid when they buy a product that solves a little or big problem they have.

Focus on finding a mentor you want to follow, model exactly what this person will do, and you will have success!

The best advice I can give you is to think about what "affiliate marketing" really is.

It isn't about "driving traffic."

It isn't about "selling stuff."

It's about being a middle man.

Your job is to find people who want something - either gaining a desire or eliminating a pain.

Your job is to find products/services that will aid those people in getting what they want.

Your job, the way you make money at this, is connecting those with the desires/problems with those who offer the solution.

Period.

Everything else is just a means to that end, and there are so many ways to do it that providing a single guide or blueprint is impossible.

Just focus on connecting people with problems/desires with people with solutions.

I think that Affiliate marketing is a vast category that has many of things to be learned and mastered. The basic idea, however, is that you'll create niche websites that point prospects to a sales page. If they buy that product, you make a commission.
