To Hide your affiliate link so that instead of it looking like this: 45566dff45666fsdh3334.clickbank you can have it show something like: "Click Here For More Information" or what ever you want it to say and when someone clicks on it, it still links to your affiliate program you are promoting. Here is the code(html): <a href="http://YOUR AFFILIATE CODE"> Click Here For More Information or whatever you want it to say</a> Hope this helps |

| Ha ha, that's what I was saying too. It might better to invest 2-7$ in a domain name to forward it.

Here's a little kit I put together for some friends. This does require your own domain name & hosting account, though. Anyone who wants it can have it. Many people in here have helped me out, so here it is - http://www.qualityresalerights.com/ldk/ldk.zip Hope it helps you out. |

The best way to cloak your link is with php files. <a href="http://YOUR AFFILIATE CODE"> Click Here For More Information or whatever you want it to say</a> isn't going to cut it. What you need to do is place your affiliate link in a "php" file and upload that to your hosting account. Then change the link in your website to the php file name. This will hide your affiliate link and should protect it from being hacked. |

Yeah, the best way is definitely with a php redirect. Assuming you have cpanel, setup a redirect from a subdomain. E.g. [yourdomain]/[whateveryouarepromoting] and direct this to your affiliate link. This way when they hover over they see [yourdomain]/[whateveryouarepromoting].php Simple using anchor text will only catch out complete newbies and non-techies. There are other ways to cloak links, but a simple php redirect is probably the best when you are just starting out |

I just use someone else's affiliate link and no one knows it's me. I'm kidding...don't be so gullible. |

To clarify, the best way to do it IMO is as follows: Open up notepad and paste in the following: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"> <html> <head> <title>Not Really Necessary</title> <meta http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=windows-1252"> </head> <body> <script type="text/javascript"> <!-- window.location = "http://www.affiliatelink.com" //--> </script> </body> </html> Save it as "index.php" I then have a main domain for miscillanious IM stuff, with a folder called recommends. Within th recommends folder, I have a folder for the affiliate product, into which I upload index.php. So the link you would put would be: "http://www.yourdomain.com/recommends/productname" This will then redirect to the affiliate product in the same window. Looks neat and tidy and hides the link. Best openion is to have a cheap domain name and hosting from godaddy then first change the IP from total DNS and then Mask the domain with description and keywords . It can help you lot. I had tried and got success.
