anyone know how this guy maintain this service for such a long time?

So, recently, I found a free keyword research tool. It has search volume, PA, DA, link data and serp analysis with a freaking social signal metrics like FB and G+ shares too. It's just ridiculously useful, but what really freak me out is the tool is free without any limit that I am aware of. I have tested with heavy queries like ~50 queries a day and still don't reach the limit.

So my question to all of you, how can this even possible? How can they be able to provide such tool for free when LTP charge users $37/month for a starter plan? How do this free tool eat the cost? They don't even have ads. I am sure there is a huge cost because tools like keywordtoolIO and LTP are charging a lot of money

    so the guy with the site uses the site to build a list of people interested in keywords and monetizing them.

    And then: POOF! He has a "pro" version that you have to pay for?

    Although... at this time...

    I don't see anything to buy. He DOES have a coming soon section but those dont really look like buyable products.

    So - at this point... he's building a list.

    My guess is that this is a highly targeted list for a piece of software he has coming out - OR - he could start charging a small monthly fee for the use of the site.

      I hope it will remain free and he sells another piece of software like you said.

      And TrickyDick: are you saying me link dropping? I do link dropping from time to time, but I am not affiliate with this site

    I see there is an "UNLOCK FEATURES" link which forces you to connect with Facebook, Twitter or Google+ - I'm guessing he is using this to build an audience for something else or premium features or something to that extent.

      To be honest, if it's all about building a list, this is one hell of an expensive list as this tool is quite costly with a minimum of $37/month at a popular, but not so good, like LTP tool

    The program is in Beta. And the following line should tell you everything

    Free version of Keyword Tool generates up to 750+ long-tail keyword suggestions for every search term
    Emphasis on "Free Version" Seems to indicate a paid version is on the way;

      @agmccall: When talking about keyword tool, people refer to keywordtoolIO, right?
