Stopping Unwanted Emails

I recently signed up for a live online session with Chris Munch but unfortunately could not take part. Now I receive lots of unwanted emails. The unsubscribe link does not work, so how do I do anything about this?

It does not seem like good practice to me and I have learnt a lesson.

You could always email Chris and ask him to take you off his list, he is one of the good guys so it's probably a genuine mistake.

If asking him does not work I would do the following:

    1) If you have webmail, use the blacklist option
    2) After doing the blacklist, look on your C-panel for "Account Level Filtering" - use his domain or other common factor within his emails to make a new filter with the option to either discard all emails from that domain or fail with a message which can be something as simple as "This Email address is no longer active" - either way, it should stop the emails from getting to your inbox.

Thanks folks. Maybe the PM or this thread will do it. It's no big deal but annoying, and it seems a bit of liberty for just expressing an interest in a seminar. It's the inability to unsubscribe that is the problem.

What email provider do you use?
You could mark it as junk or create a rule to auto delete it.

I do mark it a junk, Chris, but still want it to stop, and wanted to publicly say that I don't like it.
