thoughts on starting out with clickbank or maxbounty?

Hello,

Total newbie here please bare with me,

I have spent a couple weeks going over many many posts for other newbies here and reading different websites mentioned, I have seen so much info for newbies and am real greatful for everyones patience here. I think the route I would like to take is affiliate marketing.

So one of the websites says it offers affiliate training (max bounty) but in my application to be a member it asks what my online business is, to explain my experience in 50 characters, and I have to go through a phone interview which I am still waiting on (that is so random). I only applied because it said they give video training, is it worth calling for the phone interview to get an account? is the training any good or is it a bit advanced for where I am at? or will i get the account and the training be like 1000pounds or something undisclosed?

ALSO, click bank was way easier getting an account, but they have a clickbank university for 40pounds which makes out its videos for newbies. Now dont get me wrong I am totally fine spending money on great advice, but just wanted to check here before I do as I didnt want to pay the 40, be waffled to about generic stuff then be asked to pay another 200pounds or something for the next 10minute lesson?

so are either of those worth pursuing? if not does anybody know of any other good places to learn? I dont mind paying for any course or how many hours videos/lessons are, I just wanted to chime in before I waste money on other affiliates selling other peoples books or youtube videos that dont contain any info of any use!

I get that I choose an affiliate product, make a basic website, rank it with clever use of SEO, and collect information/make sales/link to other websites, but would be great if there were some streamlined videos on each bit of the process as I am totally new to each part of that process and all the youtube channels I find just try to sell thier online courses.

Apologies for wall of text!

    hey drdoom,

I think both are great options to start with. They both have there advantages. Clickbank offers quite a few good products and maxbounty has some great offers as well. I myself use both networks.

maxbounty does have some free training and it is pretty good. more along the lines of seo training though.

If you are just starting out it might be easier to try and start with cpa offers. Offers that do not require the end user to make a purchase. Like a short form or email submit. Once you get this under your belt and some confidence you can move on to bigger paying offers.

it is worth the phone interview, if you don't, i doubt you will get approved. they are really just wanting to make sure you will not waste their time.

With clickbank it takes a bit of work. (if you really want it to work) I have found that with clickbank offers, the best way to promote them is presell pages, free reports..etc. You can use paid traffic, youtube, seo review blogs..just pick a method, learn it and apply it

there is plenty of training on the forum here to get started and nuggets you can get.

    thanks alot james!

are cpa offers avaliable on clickbank and maxbounty? or do I use different websites that concentrate more on cpa? When I search all I find on clickbank is actual products, or do I go through each one and just find ones that manually just want forms filled out?

Well the diference its that with clickbank you must have more patience because they convert harder as cpa because the user must pay with credit card .But in my opinion if you master the trafic i think affiliate road its better than cpa
